As the title says, I am bringing back an old class for our Eberron campaign. I need someone smarter than me to give me some ideas for my Dark knowledge features. Can anyone provide some guidance on how to set this up, I am struggling to see how to build the 3 ranges for each knowledge. Also, how to add 2 modifiers for a given range so that it shows correctly. I have the whole class on paper, and it came together nicely. I would love to get it into my DND beyond, as there is a lot to track and we go long periods between sessions. If someone can get their hands on this, I may be interested in hiring you to fix the whole class for me as there is a very complex magic item and some other class skills I can not figure out. Thanks ahead of time!

Dark Knowledge
As an action, the Archivist enters into a battle of wits with the chosen creature. Make an insight check combated by the creature's Deception in an attempt to extract useful knowledge to better combat the foe. Once the knowledge has been gathered the Archivist may use that knowledge to give himself/herself and allied creatures within 30 feet specific benefits (detailed below) against that creature type for 1 minute. Depending on the level of success, the Dark Knowledge yields a better outcome for you and friendly creatures within range (who can hear and understand you). This feature may be used a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus each day. You regain one use per short rest. You regain all uses of this feature after a long rest.
Tactics (Attack Rolls)
Meet Plus One
7 or Greater Plus 1d4
12 or Greater Plus 1d4 & Advantage
Puissance (Saving Throws)
Meet Plus One
7 or Greater Plus 1d4
12 or Greater Plus 1d4 & Advantage
Foreknowledge (Armor Class)
Meet Plus One
7 or Greater Plus Two
12 or Greater Plus Two and Resistance to Bludgeoning, Slicing, & Piercing Damage
I know this isn't what you're asking, but I'd simplify this to make it fit better with 5e. I'd fix the insight DC based on CR - maybe something like 10+ (CR/2) or something - and just have a benefit if you hit that DC. Would be a lot cleaner and easier to pick up and play.
Thanks for the input, and yes, I hear what you are saying. I have so much time into it now, and our dual DM's do as well, I am hesitant to change at this point. Probably need to keep the binder and have the full-on nostalgic feeling to go with the class.
It felt good during our first session. I didn't get the clunky feeling until I tried creating it in DND Beyond and wrote it down in this forum. HAHA.
