I'm going to transfer my Balrog version to here... it's way powerful but I think it captures the strength of such a being.

As soon as you mentioned a pit-fiend-as-Balrog, I thought of this picture. Balor (D&D rip-off of Balrog) vs. Pit Fiend. EPIC
Balors ARE balrogs. TSR almost got sued by the copyright owners of tolkiens works.
Treants were Ents, Halflings were hobbits, And Balors were Balrogs
No way! I never noticed that before.

The Tavern Mother (Trust me, it's not as weird as it sounds!)
I am the God-Queen of Trickery, Cunning, Lies, and Gaslighting- but you already knew that... "Moon's Haunted." *Cocks shotgun with malicious intent* "Eliksni must rise...yes?" _________ When it comes to pronouns I preferVariks-Senpai(But I'm a dude. Pronouns are weird.)
Come on dnd! I expect better from you! as the "number one played rpg game" You can't just go ripping off tolkien!
to be fair good old Tolkien is the origin of most of modern fantasy
“J.R.R. Tolkien has become a sort of mountain, appearing in all subsequent fantasy in the way that Mt. Fuji appears so often in Japanese prints. Sometimes it’s big and up close. Sometimes it’s a shape on the horizon. Sometimes it’s not there at all, which means that the artist either has made a deliberate decision against the mountain, which is interesting in itself, or is in fact standing on Mt. Fuji." -Terry Pratchett (author of Discworld)

There’s one small difference. Balrogs: flaming sword and flaming whip. Balor: lightning sword and flaming whip.
That and also the wing debate concerning the balrogs
Yep. I'm an anti-winger, myself (otherwise the Balrog could've just flown away and left Gandalf to die in the chasm).

Legolas, check this out: Balrog. I'm kinda nt good at homebrew but I did my best.
Back in black baby
I based it off of a pit-fiend.

Nice! For Balrogs, I normally just use a Balor and remove its immunity to lightning and change the lightning damage on its sword to fire.

Sauron and Gothmog when Morgoth isn't looking
Hi everyone! I'm working up the will to finalize my signature, so... I guess this will be the signature for now
I am offended by that statement.
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)
What?
Edit: My headcanon is that Sauron and Gothmog had a huge rivalry
Also, I'm going to base an Elf king off Thingol, any suggestions

Totally. It is an awesome pic though!

That was a joke. My position in the cult is Gothmog.

I think that statement’s hilarious so it’s earned you the title of Elf. I’ll update the cult page as soon as I can get on my computer.
