Let’s not spend too much time on this. So I want to do something actually LotR-related! Name some LotR fantasy foods and who one would sound the best! I’ve actually made Lembas before, and it was really good, definitely didn’t fill me up for a day but…it was really really good!
Hmmm… Cram!
(joking lol)
One can approximate cram using Civil War hardtack recipes—military rations prior to modern preservation were probably what Tolkien was thinking when he wrote about cram. Simple to make, few ingredients, an absolute nightmare to eat, and generally unpleasant to eat. Certainly is an… experience to try to stomach.
If not for the growth side effect, Ent-drought sounds delightful—sort of like a magical version of the spreading warmth one feels when drinking alcohol:
The effect of the draught began at the toes, and rose steadily through every limb, bringing refreshment and vigour as it coursed upwards, right to the tips of the hair.
Omg dude you just love long posts don’t you? Have some fun we’re just joking around! How do you think we should celebrate for 5000 when we’re there? I’m just joking man, be yourself
Gradius, I love how you are still doing your 'no-b' thing, at least in your sig XD
Oh man I totally forgot, I have -roken my vow!!!!!

Mushrooms are gross. I have string opinion of this. Also sweet potatoes, sweet potatoes are my least favorite food

I disagree and agree with you. I love mushrooms (only sauteed), and HATE sweet potatoes.

YOU DARE SPEAK TO ME IN THAT TONE OF VOICE, BOY!?!?
Rice risotto is evil.
If we are talking evil food, I believe the orcish facsimile of Miruvor, forced into Merry and Pippin during their forced march with the Uruk-hai, would likely top that list.
It’s been forever since we did a roleplay. Remember those, Legolas? When we acted out scenes from the books? I wanna do one on here again. That would be nostalgic

That was fun…. There’s our celebration when we hit 5,0000! Now I don’t need to worry for another thousand lol.

In honour of International Talk Like a Pirate Day, here be a fun fact for ye. As ye likely know, in the extended edition of Return of the King, Peter Jackson cameos as one of the pirates on the Corsair ship. Less well known - he is not the only cameo in that scene. Gino Acevedo, the senior makeup and prosthetics artist for the film, and Andrew Lesnie, the director of photography, also make their appearances as pirates. They were probably two of the most important staff members on the film - after all, what would those films be without the practical makeup effects (particularly on the orcs) and gorgeous cinematography?
