I haven't played many, and this sounds dumb, but LEGO lotr on the wii was a blast, and still is.

I've also played Conquest.

Ok here’s a good one: Why Bill is the coolest pony ever.

He carried a wounded Ringbearer in a race against Nazgûl.

He was then chosen to be the Official Pony of the Fellowship.

He did that job very well and was well liked by all.

He managed to power thru the snowstorm of Caradhras. Ponies shouldn’t even be able to walk on those high mountains paths. BILL DID IT IN A MAGICAL SARUMAN-CONJURED FORCE NINE BLIZZARD. (This is where this pony begins to enter god mode).

After surviving all that and a warg attack without even dropping any of his load, he heads down a CLIFF to Moria.

There, he SURVIVES THE WATCHER IM THE WATER. [god music starts playing]

Then, he evidently goes and OUTRUNS OR OUTMANEUVERES THE WARG PACK. [god music intensifies]

Then, he goes all the way BACK OVER CARADHRAS. ON HIS OWN. IN A BLIZZARD. [GOD MUSIC GOES NUCLEAR]

Then, he heads several hundred miles back to Rivendell thru highly dangerous orc-infested territory.

After resting there for a few months, he is promptly reclaimed by Sam.

After that, he is Sam’s pony in the Scouring of the Shire, where he experiences first-hand combat, and witnesses the DEATH OF A GOD.

Then, Bill is the OFFICIAL PONY OF THE RINGBEARER as they head to the Grey Havens, alongside the noble horses of GALADRIEL and ELROND.

After that he lives a happy life in Hobbiton with Sam. And that’s the story of Bill, the greatest pony to have ever lived.

Since it’s only a week until the 10th anniversary of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, let’s talk about it a bit!

Unexpected Journey is definitely my favourite Hobbit movie, and probably my 2nd favourite Tolkien movie (beaten only by Fellowship). There’s basically only a couple problems I have with it, the rest is great.

I like basically everything about this movie. The characters are absolutely amazing, I do have a bit of an issue with Thorin beginning to bully Bilbo a bit (yeah I know Tolkien wrote it but I still don’t like it and I’m thankful that PJ only had like 3 moments of it, if Thorin had acted like Tolkien wrote him he’d have been rather unlikable), but otherwise everything was great. The action scenes were way better then LotR (tho the warg chase to Rivendell is still unnecessary and I just basically skip it when I watch the movie), the soundtrack and cinematography are superb, the CGI is way better then it has any right to be, and I basically just think it’s great.

I really only have an issue with Azog. He’s a purely Tolkien character in everything but physical appearance, and he’s really well done IMO, but he gets just a bit too much screen time and I don’t like how he’s the main villain. It’s fine in this movie, but he really takes away from Sauron and Smaug in the next 2. But in this movie I don’t mind him too much.

So yeah what’s everyone’s thoughts on Unexpected Journey?
