The Opposition is just one name for them. In some worlds they could be called the Cult of the Dragon. I've found they're often dedicated to releasing their versions of Tiamat on the various other planes.

A massive Silver Dragon, far bigger than most other beings. She dwarfs the tavern easily, but there's almost a haze that obscures specific features beyond color and size.
