I do enjoy proving fools wrong. And I am not nearly selfish enough to take a "break."
Riiight. I didn't know new technology allowed you to fight the Blood War remotely. Incredible how fast society advances.
Annoyance is evident in Xorius' voice. My legion was recalled from the fighting for two weeks. I have nothing else to do.
So you're on a forced break. I've never met a retired devil before.
I'm not retired.
So you were forced to be on vacation then.
My legion is doing work away from the fighting. I had no need to take part in it.

*Hi Alaric!!*
Timber is drawing herself on the shoulder of a stone golem, which is petting a fox.
Thirteen is on the roof as well, studying the stars as named by the wood elves.
Klei is reading a book on blackjack, and trying to figure out better bluffs.
Cool drawing. What's the inspiration?

"I forgot that I'm out of teleport spells...." Atemos looks sheepish.
"I think Phantom may be able to help us with that..." Soldaer shrugs his shoulders.
"I'm... hesitant to ask a dragon for favors."
"Why? He's an old friend of mine. We've been through several...intense adventures together."
"Dragons tend to want things in return."
"Not Phantom. He actually helps me protect my people from various threats in the Lyasel mountains to the east, including the orcs of tribe Egresh. He's never once asked for anything in return. There are indeed selfless dragons out there, not the least of which are the metallics."
"So it would be me, you, Enethia, and Phantom to go to Sigil? You sure you want to go shopping with us?"
"Why wouldn't I? I'm a bit of a planestraveler, and enjoy collecting unusual things many times."
"Cool cool. Just so you know, we're going to be going to the Sigil version of Costco."
"If you want someplace more expensive, I have a dragon hoard's worth of gold and platinum coins in my room, and nothing to spend it on. I'd be more than willing to pay."
"That's be amazing.. Thank you. What makes you willing to pay for strangers though?" He seems a bit suspicious.

A woman in walks into the tavern. She is of average height and looks fit, and her black hair is in a neat bun. She wears strange metal armor that looks almost living, and it bends like fabric as she walks. At her side is an odd-looking sword, as well as what looks like a small metal box with a handle.
*I'm gonna do sci-fi stuff, because I and a friend currently have almost a sourcebook's worth of information and homebrew, and I haven't even written down anything for my other character idea.*
Nessa smiles and waves. "Welcome." She admires the armor for a moment.

"Only because you're naive. Unwilling to accept the truth. Unwilling to believe that you're wrong. Blindly accepting of entities so tyrannical, so greedy, you cannot comprehend the scale of their callousness. Yet you follow them, fight for them, and die for them all the same."
Nessa put a hand up to cover her smile. "Have you rehearsed this? You know that neither of us will back down on our views. But I can understand why you think the way you do. The Hells tend to inspire a certain viewpoint and lenses to see things through, that can often blind you to other perspectives or even reality itself."
"I haven't rehearsed it, no. Most paladins tend to either run away from me, or try to kill me. But I know enough of your foolish propaganda. The gods are liars, thriving on the labor of the Nine Hells. We fight back the demons. We keep the multiverse safe. And you kill us. You slay us. You hasten your own destruction. If only the gods fought with us, alongside us! We could drive back the forces of the Abyss. We could be saviors, heroes. Think of how many lives would be saved! How many that are doomed, because of the darkness that always looms on the horizon. If your gods were truly as benevolent as you foolishly believe them to be, they would aid us in destroying the demons once and for all!"
"The gods have their reasons for doing what they do. What do you think the Hells would do once the Abyss was destroyed?"
"We would tear down your cowardly deities. We would shower the earth and the sea with their blood. I am being honest. The Nine Hells does not take kindly to traitors or cravens."
Nessa made a gesture. "See? Self explanatory."
"Only because they abandon their own servants. They gorge themselves on their own power, leaving you all to the destruction that awaits if we fail. We are doing nothing more to them than they would have let the demons do to us."
"Why haven't you tried to kill me yet then? If you hate the gods that much, I would assume you would kill their servants on sight."

Alright, let's see if I can undo some of the damage I've done to this kid. Phantom Thinks to himself, before thinking a bit as to which spells may be able to help.
Phantom walks over the Avery cautiously. "I'm sorry for what I did to you yesterday. I want to try and undo what I did to you, if you will allow it." The sadness in his tone and on his face are obvious.
"Lady Alustriel Silverymoon, ruler of the city of Silverymoon, multi-hundred-year-old human (?) wizard who's power is second only to that of Elminster himself. Quite the kind and gracious host, and very beautiful. Think she may have had a thing for me now that I look back..." Soldaer's voice trails off as he seems to relive that time again in his mind.
"Oooh lucky. She sounds nice. Were you taken or something?"
"No, just a little clueless back then. Plus, I was younger, and wanted to continue exploring. Also, if I had stuck around, I wouldn't be able to return home and help protect my people."
He nodded. "That makes sense. You kinda remind of me someone I know. Ever met Solanar?"

*Hi thirteen!!!*
Vega walks up behind her, looking at the drawing, "Thats pretty good,"
I play a miriad of characters at the lord's rest inn
Two things are infinite: The universe, and human stupidity; and I'm not so sure about the universe.
Scifi horror is quite the trip :) Comics and a story

I play Thirteen the necromancer elf, Timber the tabaxi child, and more at the tavern. Hope you like yams!
Oh yeah, don't forget to be kind and loving and stuff. Not on during weekends.
