"You...what is a god doing here? Do you support A'dda like the rest of the fools?"
Despa is an angel wearing heavy plate
Elendon turns to Despa, eyes glowing with powerful, holy light. (I don't even know this A'dda your speak of.) His eyes narrow. (But don't even think you can just push me around. I am Elendon Starguide, Patron God of Adventures and General of the Angelic Armies. There's is only one in my world who has power over me, and that is Stargazer, the Creator.)
"You misunderstand. In this tavern, none have power over others, not even gods. I speak and act as I wish."
Despa looks at Elondon, waiting for his response
Elendon smirks, and shakes his head sadly. (You're a rogue, aren't you? Only a rogue would presume that I wish to exert my influence over anyone here.) He chuckles. (My previous statement was a warning, Desperationis. I could call a force like nothing you, or the mortals here, have ever seen if you attack me.) He blinks, and that holy light shuts off, revealing a pair of piercing ice blue eyes. (I came here not for conflict though, and will not seek it out, but neither will I avoid it. If you wish to fight, you will get it.)
"A rogue... how rude. And I am not scared of you. I have fought gods, and I live to tell the tale. I do not doubt your power, but petty intimidation is a low blow for an omnipotent being."
Elendon laughs at this. (You think that was a threat? No. Just a simple warning. I don't threaten unless someone deserves my wrath, which is sure and swift. As for omnipotence, I am nearly omnipotent and nearly invulnerable, but this is merely my Avatar, and but a fraction of my power.) Elendon smiles slightly at this, but there's no hint of malice or anger, or even bragging. This is him simply speaking the truth.
Despa is unfazed by this.
"what interest do you have in this tavern?"
Elendon shrugs at Despa's lack of response. (I recognized a growing concentration of celestial power here, in addition to the already present high concentration of fiendish energy. When large forces of both gather, there is usually conflict, and the power levels drop. When neither side seemed to lose power, I had to investigate.)
Soldaer is in his room with the door open. (Open invitation for anyone)
Phantom's at the lake.
Elendon is outside, making his way back to the Tavern. He's also not making any effort to hide his nature as a diety.
Krathian is out on the plain between the firmament and the tavern. His arms are folded across his chest and his cane stands (spontaneously) next to him. He is woken out of his stupor by the sight of a deity crossing toward him. He openly considers him, leaning on his cane.
*Description please?*
*Twilight elf with pure white hair coming to mid-back when not under his helm. Ornate purple armor with blades on the joints, and faintly glowing white runic engravings. Deep blue cloak with a dragon's head emblem. Twin, long, curved swords that exude a mix of elemental and celestial energies on his hips, and a bow made from scorched oak on his back.*
*With truesight, there's a pair of barely visible, massive luminous angelic wings stretched out behind him.*
Elendon regards Krathian with a mild curiosity, barely even stopping as he keeps walking.
Krathian scratches the back of his head tosses his cane to himself and pulls his hat down on his head, starting to walk with Elendon. "Excuse me, sir, am I right in guessing that you are a divine entity?"
Elendon turns his head towards Krathian. (Indeed you would. Elendon Starguide, Patron God of Adventures and General if the Angelic Armies.)
Krathian snaps and a quill begins writing that title on a pad of parchment. "Pardon my ignorance, but you don't look like an orthodox member of the Seldarine."
(That's because I'm not part of the Seldarine, or even the Dark Seldarine. I am a member of the second tier of the pantheon of my world, with only Stargazer, the Creator, being my superior. Even Corellon Larethian himself is below me.) Elendon doesn't sound like he's bragging. He's rather matter-of-factly telling Krathian this.
"Fascinating, what world are you from?"
*His would doesn't have a name yet; working on that. It's an incomplete HB setting*
((Insert world name here))
(Can you tell me a bit more about the other members of your pantheon?)
Elendon chuckles. (Very well, but first, who are to interrupt a conversation?) There's no malice in his tone, more curiosity than anything.
*This is still Krathian, this is INAC’s alternate *
*Ahhh, sorry *
Elendon smiles. (Sure. (enter long speech about the creation of the world, Stargazer and the First age of Dragons, followed by the creation of the lesser deities and the rise of the humanoids. Next is the Creation War, and the Rise of Elendon himself as well as his four companions, eventually to the rank of diety themselves.))
*I'll try and send you the actual details in a PM later if you're really interested.*
*I am, thank you.*
Krathian listens to the entirety of the speech, taking it in and taking notes, before picking up his cane, and stuffing the parchment and quill in his coat. He offers his hand to Elendon, "Krathian. Thank you for the conversation."
Elendon takes his hand. "Of course, Krathian." His voice is smooth and melodic, but surprisingly deep at the same time.

Hi, I am not a chest. I deny with 100% certainty that I am a chest. I can neither confirm nor deny what I am beyond that.
I used to portray Krathian, Q'ilbrith, Jim, Tara, Turin, Nathan, Tench, Finn, Alvin, and other characters in various taverns.
*Yo Elendon, it's cool that you're playing a god, just try not to power creep, especially by claiming 'ultimate authority' or 'infinite power' etc. Whether or not it's in the form of a threat, it is kind of irritating to all the other members of the tavern who would like to have characters that actually matter, and therefore do not appreciate a "shut up sit down I could vaporize you by blinking," attitude, whether or not it's voiced with hostility.*
*Fair. Elendon just isn't one who usually walks among the people on the Material Plane. He'll cool that attitude eventually, one he gets used to it. He's also not going to use his powers, at least not the combative ones, often, if ever. That's just not who he is. He fought in the Creation War, and knows first hand the devastation caused when all-powerful beings fight, and had no desire to do that.*

*Heh... heh... [nervous laugh] me over here about to drop a super-powerful mortal in here... ;D*
He laughs again. "Wouldn't you like to know, mind boy?"
Indeed. Thus I asked the question
Alecto readies his crossbow to shoot at the eyes
He continued laughing, getting into a coughing fit.
you enjoy hurting people? Seeing them dying and bleeding?
"Oh, yes! I guess you're asking about those hunters down there. Oh, they were such fun toys while they lasted. For hours!" More laughter.
And yet they have hope. And yet they are probably now sent off to a more happy life. They respond wishfully
"Nope, their souls have left to a worse place. Anyways, when are you going to fire? The tension is killing me."
I am not here to hunt you. A different prey is in my sights. And how do you know of their afterlife?
He just laughs again, getting into another coughing fit.
You don't seek to talk?
"Nope! I'd rather be eating your liver right now, I'm starving."
Don't have one.
Fires crossbow: 19 to hit and 20 piecing damage. If hits, then Alecto gets a tracker on them
The laughter stops for a second as a thump sound happened, and the tentacles wiggled a bit. "Oh. That hurt a bit." The tentacles retract and the person steps into the light, dropping down to the ground. It was a 5'7 guy who was very pale, wearing a red hoodie cut off just below his ribs, and he wore some torn trousers cut off at the knees. His hair was extremely messy and tangled, hanging over one of his eyes as he dropped down. His eyes seemed dark brown, but when looked at closely, there was a tinge of red in them, as well as them being very bloodshot. His nails and teeth seemed very unnaturally sharp for a human as well. The crossbow bolt was in his shoulder, and he yanked out the bolt, snapping it and flicking it off into the woods. "Well, if you don't have one, I'll just have to wait for the next person."
If you need someone to be lead to their doom, I am happy to do the leading
Alecto retreats to the tavern. *Alecto knows the location of his target if they are on the same plane of existence. If they are not on the same plane, he knows what plane but not where specifically his target is*

*Who is in the main room? Specifically any wizards or spellcasters in general*
*zya*
*Ghost smiles*
Alecto walks over *a mix between a shardmind and a devil* and waves at them. "Hello, practitioner of the mystic arts. How is it?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Because mortals usually enjoy dancing around topics and seek to fake interest in other people's lives. Is that enough for you?" they say, a diamond smile mounted on their head the whole time
"ahh... you mistake me as a mortal. A common mistake."
"I guess I have. My apologize."
"Its alright."
"Do you know the spell identify?"
"Of course I do."
"May you cast it on... this." He say, producing the metal disk he picked up from the insane pyromaniac

All of a sudden, the insane woman kneels, looks sane, coughs up something metal, then bursts into flame and disintegrates.
Alecto taps it slightly
*The metal thing?* The metal thing is metal. It's a small disk made out of some metal.
*Yep*
they cast Detect magic from inside the zone
There are trace amounts of all types of magic, but mostly evocation and conjuration.
They smile slightly and pocket it
*... You pocket the metal disk the insane woman vomited???*
*He is a devil, going to sell it to some commoner for a quick buck and some misfortune*
*Sorry to say, you touched it first... Just kidding. Nothing happens.*
They make a mental note to never have it on their person outside of the field and look around for a wizard to identify it
It does feel slightly warm to the touch. In fact, it's getting hotter. You know when you hold a hand warmer in the same position for too long? It feels like that.
Alecto immune to fire, fiddles with it
Make an investigation check.
