Yuri is sitting on the roof of the tavern, humming.
Hazel waves and flips to a section on the Seelie court in her book.
She finds a section on eladrin and reads up on it a bit.
Gwen waves to her
Hazel smiles and waves back. After a moment, she thinks of something and pulls out a sheet of graph paper. Lifting it up, she blows on it and a tiny faerie dragon peels off the paper and flies up to Gwen.
Gwen schoots away, mystified and worried. "Um... Hello newly made dragon." They say, to the faerie dragon
The dragon bumps against Gwen, then flies off into the sky, not really interested in staying around. On the ground, Hazel smiles at Gwen faintly and puts away the paper.
"Did you... Just make that?"
*Just on for a second...*
"Yep. It's a physical manifestation of my imagination on this reality."
"So are you a god?" They say, worried. "Should I bow or something?"
"No, no! I'm a Possibility. Essentially something that could have happened, and didn't. I, however, found a way up through the imagination of my creator. Due to being a living Possibility - sometimes called a Paradox - I can create other Possibilities. The smaller they are, like that faerie dragon, the easier."
"Oh, cool! How long can they exist for?"
"The smaller and less powerful they are, the more control I have over how long they stay here. The more powerful they are, the more unpredictable their behavior and life span."
"Mmm... What about say a book?"
She smiles. "All of this-" she motions to her backpack full of books. "is a Possibility. I can create inanimate objects. Generally, as long as they aren't magical they're semi-permanent. That is to say, none of the ones I've created have disappeared yet."
"Can you mimic preexisting books?"
"Yes, that's generally the only way I can create an object as complex as a book. I have to read it and recreate it, which is why I don't simply have a library with every book in existence on its shelves."
"Could... Could I ask you to copy a book for me then?"
"Yeah, sure!"
"Thanks." They pull out the one Lumen lent her. "Please don't scar it or anything, its from a friend."
"OK, thanks!" She begins to flip through the book carefully, zoning out while she reads. *It'll take several hours to read it, then she'll have the copy ready.*
Gwen waits and waits and waits, trying not to worry
Eventually Hazel finishes. "Wow! Interesting theories, even if some of them are wrong. Also a bit stuffy, literally and figuratively. Here." She hands the book back to Gwen, but when he takes it he can feel the weight of two books stacked on top of each other.
"Did... did you change the weight or something?" They say, examining it
She laughs. "No! It's just underneath the other." When they look at it, they can see an identical book stacked underneath the other.
"Thanks! Anything I need to do for you?"

Yes, mortal souls move to the afterlives in the outer planes. Now, who sorts these souls? And where are they sorted?
no idea.
The Judge of the Dead... well judges them. As for the location, that is the fugue plane. Naturally, the system isn't able to sort everyone over infinity.
The "fugue plane" sounds suspicsous, and i have no idea what it looks like.

Well... I was told that resurrection was the decision of the gods, not angels like me. That and once a soul passes to the afterlife and become a petitioner, coming back upsets the natural flow of souls
That's not always true, but it is sometimes...Not in Caelum's case.
Got it. I understand that the answers are't open to me... Anyway I guess I am going to comfort the dragon Raphael says, worried
