Theren is wandering in the woods. His left arm is gone and his face is cut and bloody. He is talking to himself.
Eaton and Smidge are at a table relaxing.
Harveil is mending his net.
Phantom circles above the tavern, enjoying the wind under his wings.
Yazrin is training.
Iralias is sprinting back to the tavern, phasing in and out of the material plane, with a purple faerie dragon flying above him.
There is insane laughter from the woods.
Phantom slowly banks, curious and cautious, and heads that way.
*Oh, and Albwin needs to meet the twins. Let's just say that he's now an older brother to a pair of wyrmlings...Hehehehe*
*Dear gods. Tomorrow will be that day....*
There is a small fire with a figure leaning against a tree not moving.
Phantom furrows his brow, and dives down, pulling up and landing about 100 feet away, where he shifts into his elf form.
The figure looks familiar except for the fact his left arm is missing.
Phantom walks closer at 60 ft/round, and smiles slightly, a bit concerned. "Theren? What happened?" He asks.
Therens eyes snap open and with surprising speed he draws his short sword. "Stay back." he growls.
With a sigh, Phantom temporarily shifts back to his dragon from. "It's me, Theren, Phantom. You helped rescue my son, Albwin, from the Silent One...?" He shifts back.
There is a flicker of recognition in his eyes and he sheaths his sword. "Sorry Phantom."
He walks over. "What in the Nine Hells happened to you, my friend?"
"War isn't pretty. Orcs took my arm as a trophy."
Phantom winces slightly. "Let's get you back to the tavern. I can heal you there. Even regrow your arm if you'd like."
"I'd rather not re-grow my arm, but sure lets go back to the tavern. How's your wife by the way?"
Phantom winces, before turning around. "She's gone, Theren..." He says quietly as his voice trails off, and it holds a tremendous amount of sadness.
"What do you mean gone?"
He turns back to Theren, tears slowly falling. "She's dead...A fallen god took her...right after we had finished our vows too..."
Theren clenches his fist. "Gods I'm sorry."
Phantom chuckles sadly. "That was nearly....what, two, three months ago now?" He snorts. "Thank you though, my friend."
"Sorry my friend. War has kept me busy."
Phantom nods sadly. "I understand...probably better than most...I lost my father in a war...I actually was fighting alongside him...I'll tell you that story another time, though...it was my darkest day." He chuckles sadly again.
Theren stands up and smothers the fire. "Well I await the story." he says with a smile. There is a gust of wind and a leaf blows right through Theren.
Phantom smiles slightly. "Now or when we get back to the tavern?"

Phantom looks around rather concerned, even switching to truesight.
Yazrin laughs. "You weren't Yacatl. You've just needed some attention, haven't you?" Yazrin stiffens slightly when Yacatl does, but he slowly relaxes.
"Yes... You are one of the few people who put me at easy." They say, resting
He smiles. "Good..." His voice trails off, as he relaxes.
"How has dreaming been?"
He shrugs. "Been a long time. Probably at least a couple hundred years."
"Like it? Compared to trancing."
"It's...different...Kinda, but trancing allows me to stay aware of everything still, which means I know I'm not going to get snuck up on."
"I can see the advantage of that... If you want to you can wake up and start trancing.............. That or we can have some more fun."
Yazrin relaxes a little more. "What exactly do you have in mind?"
"Mmm... Ever heard of spiderman? Ever got a grappling hook?"
He looks utterly confused.
"No?" He says, his smiling growing
Yazrin shakes his head slowly.
"You want to try it out?"
He shrugs, a little hesitantly.
"Look, I'll help you okay? You ready?"
He looks very nervous, and much more like he'd rather stay in the tree.
"Look, you will stay with all your weight on trees.... please?" They say, using their cute cat eyes
Yazrin seems to be wavering the slightest bit, but still more like he'd rather stay nice and secure on the tree branches.
Yacatl sighs. "Pretty please?" Yacatl says, trying their hardest
Yazrin chuckles slightly. "Why do you want me to do...whatever this is...so badly?"
"Because I think you will find it fun. You can't get hurt here. Its the perfect training space... Look, if this doesn't work out, you get to choose what we do for the rest of the dream, okay?"

*Could Gwen/Raphael intro then? Instead of Phantom?*
