When she reaches them, Soldaer smiles. "First, what do you think of my home city?"
"Its been fun, so far! The shopkeep was very nice"
"That's good to hear." He pauses, smiling. "Me and Nia had to go talk to my parents before we came to find you. They have extended an invitation for you to stay at the palace, but understand if you don't want to. And no, I didn't tell them your past, just that you have had bad dealings with nobles in the past." He pauses again. "If you don't want to stay at the palace, you are able to stay at any inn in the city, on my family, since you are a friend of mine."
She closes her eyes, thinking a while "I.... Suppose the palace would work... Ill... Send Roffigirrte to get the dampeners, just in case, though.... Id try my best not to hurt anyone, but..."
"If you'd rather not, then you can stay in the city. My parents will understand." He says, laying a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"... Im not sure what Id rather do. I can adapt to almost anything, so.... Whatever should work well"
Soldaer smiles, although a bit nervously. "Then you can stay in the palace. And don't worry too much; all the rooms have wards very similar to those at the tavern."
"Alright. Ill... Keep myself from doing things not blocked by wards as best I can."
Soldaer laughs. "You don't need to worry. Remember, me and Nia won't be far, and I will help keep you calm."
"... How large is the palace and the rooms, exactly?"
"Very large. You didn't see the palace itself before, because I just got you out of the gardens as fast as possible." He turns back down the path to it. "You'll see soon enough, E." He pauses for a minute. "As an added precaution, would you like Shade to stay with you?"
"Only if she'd want to. I wouldnt want to be too much trouble for her."
Soldaer laughs. "She likes you, E, and she can handle herself, don't forget that. she'll be there to help keep you company, and to help keep you calm."
"... Alright. Ill try my best to make that the least trouble possible for her"
Soldaer chuckles and leads the way back to the palace. Now that they aren't rushing, you can see it is a massive, and surprisingly natural and beautiful, structure. It looks as though an entire forest has been grown to form it. Large spruce trees form ornate towers along the walls of the compound and the palace proper, with oak and birch trees having been grown t form the walls. Almost everything has been reinforced with white limestone. The palace itself is equally stunning. Spruce trees form several towers, Oak trees rise above the main complex in areas, grown in very similar style to Soldaer and Nia's home on Entropy, and many domes, some of them made from woven branches, others white limestone, and even a few that were both, dot it. In all, the compound is about 1,500 feet square, with the palace proper being about 800-1000 feet square.
Roffigirrte can be seen circling above, as E closes her eyes, and begins leaning on the 2 of them to walk

He straightens slightly, obviously a bit annoyed. "Another bard? Interesting..." His eyes, which had been narrowed slightly, go back to normal. "Very well, although I would like to talk later." He turns and makes his way back over to V, sitting next to her.

"Apparently..." he says, as he starts tunning his guitar to be ready for when he can go on, listening to her style, and watching her performance, smiling the slightest bit.

V chuckled, checking Wolfe out as well. "You know, she's loud, but she has a certain... charm. She seems more defined."

She pulled out a gold coin, flipping it. "Sure, I have money to burn."
"Thanks. So, what is your name?"
"I'm Vyveweamb. You can call me V if that's a bit complicated."
"Its fine. Is that a common name in your culture?"
"I don't know, I wasn't raised around a whole lot of my kind."
"Where did you get the name then?"

Soldaer and Nia are relatively close to where Soldaer left E when he went to get Nia.

Soldaer turns and spots her, smiling. Went shopping too, I see.

He laughs. C'mon over here. We have some things to discuss, especially about where you'll be staying while we're here.
She begins walking over, smiling
When she reaches them, Soldaer smiles. "First, what do you think of my home city?"
"Its been fun, so far! The shopkeep was very nice"
"That's good to hear." He pauses, smiling. "Me and Nia had to go talk to my parents before we came to find you. They have extended an invitation for you to stay at the palace, but understand if you don't want to. And no, I didn't tell them your past, just that you have had bad dealings with nobles in the past." He pauses again. "If you don't want to stay at the palace, you are able to stay at any inn in the city, on my family, since you are a friend of mine."
She closes her eyes, thinking a while "I.... Suppose the palace would work... Ill... Send Roffigirrte to get the dampeners, just in case, though.... Id try my best not to hurt anyone, but..."
"If you'd rather not, then you can stay in the city. My parents will understand." He says, laying a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"... Im not sure what Id rather do. I can adapt to almost anything, so.... Whatever should work well"
Soldaer smiles, although a bit nervously. "Then you can stay in the palace. And don't worry too much; all the rooms have wards very similar to those at the tavern."
"Alright. Ill... Keep myself from doing things not blocked by wards as best I can."
Soldaer laughs. "You don't need to worry. Remember, me and Nia won't be far, and I will help keep you calm."
"... How large is the palace and the rooms, exactly?"
"Very large. You didn't see the palace itself before, because I just got you out of the gardens as fast as possible." He turns back down the path to it. "You'll see soon enough, E." He pauses for a minute. "As an added precaution, would you like Shade to stay with you?"
"Only if she'd want to. I wouldnt want to be too much trouble for her."
Soldaer laughs. "She likes you, E, and she can handle herself, don't forget that. she'll be there to help keep you company, and to help keep you calm."
"... Alright. Ill try my best to make that the least trouble possible for her"
Soldaer chuckles and leads the way back to the palace. Now that they aren't rushing, you can see it is a massive, and surprisingly natural and beautiful, structure. It looks as though an entire forest has been grown to form it. Large spruce trees form ornate towers along the walls of the compound and the palace proper, with oak and birch trees having been grown t form the walls. Almost everything has been reinforced with white limestone. The palace itself is equally stunning. Spruce trees form several towers, Oak trees rise above the main complex in areas, grown in very similar style to Soldaer and Nia's home on Entropy, and many domes, some of them made from woven branches, others white limestone, and even a few that were both, dot it. In all, the compound is about 1,500 feet square, with the palace proper being about 800-1000 feet square.
Roffigirrte can be seen circling above, as E closes her eyes, and begins leaning on the 2 of them to walk
Is it too much, E? If you'd rather stay at an inn, you can. It's not too late to change your mind.

She seems... Almost tranced, yet not. Its as if shes deafened currently
Soldaer stops walking, and grabs her, gently, by the shoulders, spinning her to face him. "E. Snap out of it. I'm thinking taking you to the palace isn't the best idea...Let's go get you a room in one of the inns."
Roffigirrte slowly circles down, motioning to continue forwards
Soldaer sighs, obviously worried. he casts speak with animals on himself, and turns to Roffigirrte. What's wrong with her, Roffigirrte?
Her eyes snap open "Calm down.. Nothing is wrong. I was looking through Roffigirrtes senses"
Soldaer sighs. "Ok." He chuckles. He continues to lead them towards the palace then. The guards on the wall over the gate snap to attention as they approach, and the gates swing open, letting them in.
