"Hey, I wanna show you something, c'mere sit down."
He walks over to his next to her, his chest glowing softly, a bit of warmth coming off.
*I swear its not what you think it is*
She begins to untie her tunic, smiling down at Damian. "Oh look at you, little glowstick~"
*Hmm, you sure?*
He raises an eyebrow, mock offense on his face “From a dog to a glowstick? I really am nothing more than a good time to you.” He says jokingly.
*not yet anyway* From a pocket between her undershirt and tunic, she pulls out a small, brown leatherbound book. The pages are dishevelled on the edges. She sets this on the counter before retying her tunic.
*Hmm. Okay.*
He looks to her tunic and then to the book, a rather large bit of confusion of his handsome face, not exactly understanding what the books is about, but expecting her to explain farther as to what lies within.
"And you thought you were gonna get some melons with your cake. No, this book-" She says while turning it over and opening it. the face of the book is... a face. "Has very special instructions for removing curses, and even deals with spirits, demons, and a few gods."
He coughs as she calls him out on what he was completely thinking before seeing the book’s face “Oh, one of those. I don’t think I’m stupid enough to start making choices with one of those in my pocket. That is something I try not to get caught with, but if you want me to try.”
"Maybe later. Uhh, well, I was kind of thinking... we could read this, and see if it has any mention of the god who broke you... sounds like a book, or a movie... The God Who Broke Me..."
*please get the reference*
*Unfortunately I don’t.*
“Well if you want to read it with me I’ll try to pay attention to the words. Maybe we will find something that might actually be able to piece me back together.” He picks up the book, putting it into his cloak as he goes to check on the cake.
*The spy who shagged me? No?*
"Well, I was told not to read it aloud..."
*Nothing.*
“Well then we won’t, we can just read it together on your recliner.”
"Sounds like a casual couple activity, silently reading a demon book, all cuddled up in a recliner in front of a fire."
“More normal than most things you would find a giant bunny woman and a devil man doing.” He says shrugging before taking out the cake, leaving it to cook.

'At least ya don't live in a sewer. Somehow that really takes away ya status'
You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
'The only adventurers I've seen are either sickos or dead'
You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
“Unfortunately I’m a soldier instead, and I don’t think that’s much better.”
'Guess not. Soldier, adventurer, not too different. At least ya take orders from someone, you're not just running rampage'
You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
*Morning folks*
'Thought so, but apparently not. Must have been a dream or something'
*it got time travelled away, so all is fine*
You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.

'Ya think? Maybe I could go wash in the river'
You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
“I take direct orders from an egotistical idiot who happens to be king. I don’t think that’s enough to be a good thing.”
'Ya got any other skills? Could ya quit?'
You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
'Yeah'
Flint heads off to the river and gets clean, before returning to the tavern. He looks like a surprisingly normal half-elf
You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
'Thanks, I guess'
You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
“I could quit, but everyone would be screwed without me.”
