This thread strictly forbids talking about the OGL fiasco, but not the last fifty or so fiascos WotC has caused since then, right? I'm just so stunned by their PR incompetence.

Question of the Day: How was your last Dnd session? My answer is a little long so I'm putting it in a spoiler.
Yesterday, Yankedoodle, my war forged lore bard/clockwork soul sorcerer rick rolled the entire universe and almost became the god of dreams. Our adventuring party has left post-apocalyptic earth in a spell jammer powered by a lich's phylactery that we stole from a band of mercenary Gith. As we were flying through the Ethereal Plane we came across a giant crystal castle. Upon entry we discovered that this was the castle of the Dream Maker who is the cloud giant responsible for making dreams. He carves fantastical statues out of dream crystal and then puts them into a machine called the World Mind where they are ground up into dust and spread across the mindscape to create dreams. Something was clogging the World Mind so we had to go in and fix it. We found that the tube going into the grinder was clogged by a large troll statue that had gained sentience. All the other dream statues were blocked up by the troll who was afraid of going into the grinding mechanism.
Now, the argument was that the animated troll was not actually alive, merely an artifact that had gained the semblance of sentience through its magical nature. My character was a robot though so he wasn't having any of that. If the troll begging for his life wasn't alive, how could my character be considered living? This was quite the emotional conundrum for poor Yankedoodle.
We later discovered that being ground into dream sand wouldn't kill the troll, instead it would cause him to be born as a dream spirit in the mindscape so we calmed and convinced him to go into the grinder. Instead of leaving right away, Yankedoodle had an existential crisis. He was a construct who never slept before, he had never dreamt. Looking inside the World Mind he could visually see all the wonderful and terrible dreams of the world. Also, as payment for the unclogging job, the Dream Maker offered to give each of our characters one dream of our choice next time we slept, but my character has had a lifetime of no dreams. How could he choose one. He had a very strong urge to jump into the grinder himself in the hopes of becoming a dream to discover the secrets he has been searching for and live in the ecstasy of the mind that he has been apart from. He eventually decided not to though, because his adopted/gaslighted son was burning in a hell dimension because of him and he needed to free him.
So we left the World Mind, but not before my jukebox bard played Never Gonna Give You Up inside it, rick rolling the entire universe and inspiring Rick Astley to write the song.

And that was just the beginning side quest.
I haven’t played since my last week of camp, but it went really well. I really miss it. I’m looking forward to playing again when I go back to school.

That's amazing lol. Me personally, our session went well. Players confronted the final boss of a dungeon, chose to spare him because he regretted working for the BBEG while watching everyone he knows in his kingdom die. They also made a Cyclops think they were gods and will probably meme about him for a while. They're decently new, and I'm also not the most experienced (we all are only are a few levels after having finished Phandelver), but each time we sit down and roll some math rocks we get a better understanding of roleplay, the rules and such and it makes me happy to watch the group grow.

Me, I've been avoiding the drama. I admit, with the games I run, and for as long as I've been running them, the needle is too deep in the veins. The addiction flows.
That's pretty slick. I've only ever used heroforge for regular characters, but even then it's been a while. Looks like they've added new stuff.
I don’t know if this is new, cause most of the time I’m just messing with animals, but I find the expression thing fun.
