Santa Claus seems like he'd be a paladin of devotion, and I gave him Beast Master to give him a reflavored riding horse named Rudolph. If I had Tasha's I'd have given him Tinkerer Artificer, but I don't so I settled for what I had. He's Level 20, as we all know that only the most powerful of beings can deliver presents to almost every house on Earth in one night.
As in Racaraide? It is an old forgotten word for an honored bard whose verses either uplift with praise those that they deem worthy or tear down the reputation of those who aren't. I chose it because it is really old and almost forgotten and I don't see many other users with it here.
Yeah, it's not even in the dictionary I think, it's a subclass in AD&D I'm pretty syre though, that's all I could find until I scrolled way down and found that it's sort of a synonym for rhapsodist.
Dictionaries are only really useful for words that are used to a certain degree of commonality today, and only ever reflect how they are used today. Use an encyclopedia, instead.
THe word in question is an old English term borrowed from a mangled latin term meaning one who rhapsodizes, as part of the ritual stuff. Essentially, a choral singer like you see in certain fatih's church serves today -- but for a pagan belief system, lol.
It was never a subclass in D&D, lol.
That whole thing about "I'm a level 6 member of X class" -- in 1e, you used a title that was part of the experience tables to describe yourself, and that is where they got all the titles for the forums from.
it was the creation of subclasses and expansion for classes by players that ultimately killed -- people took a lot of those and created homebrews for them. Then, in late 2e and through 3.5e they used a lot of them as the names for subclasses and feature groups and more crap.

With the number of posts I have under my belt it’s no question whether or not I got them all, so I didn’t feel the need to advertise it. Besides, “perfect” sounded to stuck up. I couldn’t go without a title, the system wouldn’t let me. So I picked the most basic title that was available. And besides, aren’t we all “adventurers” in our own way through this epic journey we call “life?”
Can I get new life dice?
I seem to roll a lot of Natural 1s. LOL
No.
I asked, they said no. You must adapt, overcome, and survive.
I then asked about me. They said "you are a mixed race trans woman of color with a gazillion letters after your name -- you sure you want us to take a look at your life rolls now?"
I gave them a first born and said thank yo and left.

I keep seeing all these Santa builds here and on Reddit.
And I gotta say, shockingly few of them are Clerics.
And, like, the so called "original Santa" is a cleric.
he's a Saint, by name, even.
Santa is, if he has a class, a Cleric. Domain? Why, the Domain of Childhood and Kindness, fer crying out loud. One of his domain's core powers stems from the imagination of children.
But really, Santa is a Demigod or God. Sorry, that's just how I see it.

Question: What do you think a mortal personification of the Forgotten Realms would look like?
In one of MTG's core sets they had a series of legendary creature cards that represented a few different planes. Soul of Innistrad looked like a giant made of a thousand zombies, Soul of Theros was a colossal warrior with a body made of starlight, etc. I always thought those were cool.
Soul of Faerun would probably look like an underground creature, probably covered in golden treasure. Maybe a creature so large that it has caves and tunnels in it? Arguably it would moreso reflect the heroes rather than the monsters but I don't think that fits the theme, really. And goodness knows there's more monsters than heroes.

My forum title was the punkiest little gremlin title I could find in my options. I don't think about it ever, can't even see it in the default mobile layout. I think it says cutpurse.

He should be a cleric, I just didn't know what subclass to give him, and I have very few, but yeah, Santa is a god, no joke
One of my first homebrew creations was actually a Christmas Domain, because I thought it was really weird that nothing came up when I searched for it. It's still one of my better creations, I'd say.

I went with perfect, because I love the irony that “perfect” is a typo.
For those of you not as old as the hills, the titles are from 1e when every class had titles associated with their level. It was meant to be a way to introduce yourself in game, like I’m Bob the priest meant you were a level 3 cleric. Level 5 cleric was supposed to be prefect, but the typo went through instead. I’m pretty sure that’s why it’s in parentheses here. To show they are accurately quoting what they know is a mistake.

Back in AD&D each level had an associated title. Racaraide And Skald were titles attached to various levels of the Bard (which was a subclass of Rogues back then).

So, on Reddit, in the r/dnd thingy, someone said their PC got a million gold and asked what they should do with it.
this is my response:
Ok, so, bear with me now, as this may seem a little unorthodox...
First, go out and find yourself a nice secluded area that is hard to get to and preferably in an area that is dangerous.
Next, locate a cavern, ideally one that has a nice set of tight passages and fairly large spaces. Nice natural one. Limestone is ok, if you can find an old lava tube thing, better. Bats are fine, but they leave a mess, so hopefully one without them.
Now, start hauling the gold there in secret. Put it into chests -- say something like 500 coins per chest. Maybe toss in some cut gems, a few pieces of jewelry. Nothing fancy. Plain strong boxes, wood and iron, with good locks will do.
Set them up in different areas of the caverns. This is important. This way, if anyone stumbles across it, they will only ever get the first one.
Come to think of it, maybe you should hire a locksmith to make a lock with some kind of poison needle thing in the lock if they try to pick it.
Keep 500 for yourself, but try to get the rest of into the caverns.
Now, if you know a friendly mage of decent level, maybe you can get them to cast a Guards and Wards on the front. Security, you know. Maybe they could do a few conjure ally spells in different areas. Yeah, they might take a bit of coin but you've got a million. It will be worth it. Have them protect the coins in those caverns. Security.
Down a bit from the secret cavern, build yourself a nice little home base. Maybe a tower, maybe a keep, maybe just a small one room cabin with a bed, fireplace, maybe some gardens outside. This gives you a place to come home to. Near the treasure you worked hard to get.
Be sure to write a will. Or maybe not. Hell, if it is remote enough, no one will know when you die. Be sure to scare off folks who come by to sell you stuff you don't need. Maybe some heads on pikes. If your DM allows it, maybe hire some goblins as guards.
Be sure to include a decent library in your cabin. I know you probably don't read much (fighters, am I right?) but should you have company, they can be impressed.
Continue with adventures. As you get new stuff, you can now store it in the caverns. Art, scrolls, magic items.
You may need to up the security a bit, but that's up to you.
I hope this helps.
looks totally innocent with her best DM face

During December games - I have "Santa Claus" appear - he's a angelic being named "Nikalos."
And he often has quests for the party...
And at the end he either gives "Nikalos Inspiration" which never expires until used (normal Inspiration goes away once the party rests, in my game).
And he once gave out unique Nikalos gifts - each with 12 charges (that do not recharge) to symbolize the 12 days of Christmas.
