Others are alright. Daughter of the deep was good, nice change.
Anyone like Philip Pullman?
What did he write? He sound familiar.
His Dark Materials, and a prequel twenty years later. Because he has so few books, I’ll occasionally stumble across one, remember how much fun I used to have reading them, and spend about a month addicted to them once again. It’s a nice little cycle.
I am currently working my way through Warbreaker, by Brandon Sanderson. I loved the Stormlight Archives and thought I would give this a try. I love the story but am less in love with the magic system of this world. But the characters, as always with Sanderson, are superbly written.
Also, I have added all the recommended readings in this thread to my list. <3

Brandon Sanderson is great. So far I have only read Elantris, but I have Mistborn and can't wait to read it.
Yes you do. It's a classic.
Has anyone read Magnus chase? It’s really good.
I did. I loved it.
I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft, Exandria and the Upside Down from Stranger Things. My pronouns are she/they (genderfae).
I read it every three months or so.

I read part of it. I ain’t really a fan of Rick Riordan.

Who’s your favorite character in Heroes of Olympus? I love Nico and Leo.
Piper. And I like Khione the snow goddess as far as villainous characters go. Nico’s boyfriend Will is pretty cool too.

Khione is awesome. My character in the camp half blood thread, Caleb, is actually the son of Khione.

Mistborn was my introduction to Sanderson and I could not put the book down. Please be sure to share your experiences with it when you do.
