"Why? We met, if only briefly, a few weeks ago. You expressed a desire to destroy me. I have, just now, expressed a desire to destroy you. I see no reason for you to change." Hellfire shifts slightly, his pose more relaxed but not open to attack.
"A kind gesture, yet a potentially foolish one, seeing as we have known each other for less than 5 minutes." Kalus opines.
They tilt their head “The hive mind has considered the benefits of eliminating you, and found it to be not worth the power required.”
“I have known fellow wills for less who are now my allies, you are no different. If you betray me I will simply wipe you off the face of the planet.” He says calmly.
"Then you still want to kill me, you just believe that the damage I would deal you in such a fight would be too much to handle? Flattering." Hellfire replies, deadpan.
"...Fair enough." Kalus replies, annoyed. "I would do well to not annoy you then."

“That you would, I can sense the stench of treachery on you, but I believe you aren’t stupid about it. Learn to figure this out for yourself.” He says walking away to speak to the mortals of the army.
"Hate is what brought me back."
"Hmph." Kalus mutters, walking in the opposite direction. The soldiers mill about, unsure of what to do.
“Hate is a weak emotion forced into strength.”

"Hate is my blade, my armour, my soul. It always has been."
They follow him reluctantly. Kalus watches from afar, intrigued.

Hellfire is silent for a while. Eventually, he draws his blade, the tip grazing the Frenzy's stomach, and slowly pushes it into the ground. he takes the halberd in both hands and puts it over his back. "Apology accepted." He says, eyes boring into the frenzy, clearly stating that he has not fully accepted the apology and is still quite distrustful of them.

“I would be willing to teach you what you must know, but you likely wouldn’t use it in the ways I do.”
*Sorry, gotta go*
