My Gravity falls tavern isn't gaining that much traction. :(
I mean, it's to be expected (not everyone watches Gravity Falls on here which limits the players that join), but I'm kinda sad cause I put work into it (casually made a literal ARG) and it's not very active (I think only like 2 people have introed characters so far).

My tavern supports any type of player. Any interested? This could be great if we only had more posts. Even just a character intro and nothing more is great because others can have something to respond to and interact with.
Is anyone interested in posting in this roleplay tavern? Here's the intro:
"Deep beyond where the sands of time fall lies a tavern beyond the wheel of worlds. It is common knowledge that the Celestials live in the upper plains and the Fiends in the lower, but this tavern lies in the sideways plains. Legend says The Enigma lived here: A being beyond the gods who wrote the rules of the universe with a crimson quill before accidentally erasing himself. Now it has become a tavern, a place between all worlds, where beings from all worlds come together and interact. The tavern itself floats in the void of space. The tavern has 1000 unique rooms, each a square mile in size. But while some rooms seem like a typical town, others are mushroom forests, haunted seas, celestial counsel rooms, and even giant computer motherboards. And every day, 1 room gets replaced with a new one.
But now a crisis has formed. A room disappeared today but no new one formed. All fear that may happen again. And if the tavern dies, other worlds may come down with it."
The biggest problem for sure is finding players to join. I think I'll be more successful, as well as everyone else's taverns, if I can convince just a few people to post some. Then maybe others might want to post.

Honestly I saw this, Im just not a fan of the whole 100 doors thing and them changing, it being in space and doors dissapearing. It all sounds super confusing.

Yeah, that can be confusing, but only if you're trying to play by that plot. But honestly, you could just roleplay. And in any environment. And with all those worlds, as long as I get enough users, they can interact in any place at any time, switching to a different room or being with a different player the moment they get bored. And if you want a plot, you can investigate the doors disappearing, it's just there for any who do want a plot to increase the player diversity.
If it's still confusing, just here this. "In space is a strange tavern filled with unique rooms". All you really need to know.
The main point was to have a roleplay tavern that was pure roleplay, no other chatting. I saw a really popular roleplay tavern with almost 50 thousand posts where the thread was being clogged up by users saying hi and complaining about math class. Literally, the whole game was people saying they have to go, saying their back, and everyone chatting without any actual roleplay, then saying they have to leave again. Here's a sample of what was in it recently: "GTG" " (did I miss everyone lol)" " *I still exist sorta:>*" "(you doing other stuff?)" "*mostly just getting through classes*" And then, miraculously, someone roleplayed. For 1 post. And then the random chatting started again.

Yeah thats basically the camp half blood thread.

It's not that the thread doesn't require the plot, it just DOESN'T HAVE ONE

Yeah thats basically the camp half blood thread.
*actually it’s been revived mostly recently, it’s like 4 people who post there often now, and most of it is roleplay. It’s basically always been mostly roleplay*

Lord’s Rest is that way because it’s not just a tavern; it’s a friendgroup. They like to check in on each other. I promise you not all 50k posts are entirely OOC.
But do you at least see the point? My thread is a pure roleplay thread, and the Camp Halfblood thread (which may have 4 that post but is like 90% between 2 people) is roleplay ONLY for Percy Jackson content because of its theme.
We all have different opinions. Most of us think 4 is really not that impressive. Especially considering your a tight knit group. I tried to get rasmus in there but had very little interaction with characters.

Yeah, it isn’t a lot compared to some other, newer threads, but some people join every now and then. And I liked Rasmus, they were cool. I’m not trying to start any fights, sorry.
another thing, I don’t see why only having certain content for a tavern is a bad thing if that’s the whole point of a tavern, because the main people who will be on that thread have read Percy Jackson. And even then, that’s not entirely true. There was an SCP crossover thing at one point.
But if I came to play, I wouldn't play in the past. That isn't how time works. So the current group of 4 doesn't "impress" me, it's just better than 3 I guess. And there are thousands of active users, 4 isn't my goal.
And I'm just saying this because someone said my thread was basically the Camp Halfblood thread (clearly not true, and he's the one who made a Camp Jupitar thread with no roleplay yet at all, just one person saying they'd make a character and never again posting for almost... 2 weeks now.) I'm not saying its a bad thread for focusing on Percy Jackson, I love that series. Themed threads are great when they get lots of people. I just don't have friend groups to be on this thread with, so I'm not popular enough to start success unless I can interest the whole public.
Is there anything you want to prove? I could debate all day, honestly, I have nothing else to do.
Camp Half-Blood isn’t composed of four players; it’s composed of 46, fourteen of which have accumulated over a hundred posts. It’s also the ninth-most popular thread in Ado’s Kitchen, out of 1,152 threads. No matter how you slice it, that’s a pretty darned impressive thread.
And there are like 2 people that actually post in it, one of which being the creator of the thread, and some that occasionally come on with 1 or 2 sentences not really roleplay, so If I wanted to join a thread it wouldn't be that one.
You’re making a really great argument against yourself here, lol.
Why are we attacking this poor thread again? Camp Half-Blood didn’t do anything wrong, except for . . . unnecessary OOC conversation? I don’t think that’s as big an issue as you think it is, in all honesty.
Seriously, I fully acknowledge my thread was born dead, and also have nothing against that thread . Look at what I just said before you posted that. "I'm not saying its a bad thread for focusing on Percy Jackson, I love that series. Themed threads are great when they get lots of people. I mostly just want interaction. I posted in a popular roleplay thread once, putting lots of effort into my intro. I was completely ignored, with no acknowledgment of my existence at all. The manager who runs the thread and NPCs has a responsibility to acknowledge those who want to roleplay, and he never even hinted at my existence. But based on context clues and the amount of posts around that time, it's a 100% guarantee he saw my post. I just want to have a roleplay tavern where people aren't ignored and are fully included (because often the friends only interact with each other) as well as pure roleplay with no thread clogging.
I'm not having any luck getting people to post in it. Just one post so far.
