He laughs good naturedly. "Only if to folk from around here. We don't actually get blizzards up here. Mostly just heavy rain."
“It is uncomfortably warm.” The centaur agrees, looking around. “I was supposed to follow the river upstream and then follow the mountain ridge to the pass but… I’ve somehow gotten lost. Perhaps the wrong river?” He sighs frustratedly. “This place is very strange.”

“How interesting… it’s a wonder that your people managed to live in such an inhospitable climate. I hail from the village of Old Caterinna, right at the heart of the Tsaritsa river, where it flows fastest and strongest. Our new leader, Lady Bouclaire Blanchet, wanted to establish relations with out neighbors, since we were previously… quite isolated, no other villages for quite a ways, and Lord Gregory, our former lord, didn’t care much about exploration… we have a surplus of food, especially fish, due to our proximity to The Tsaritsa.”
“The Tsaritsa! Yes! I know of that one. It is one of the ways we found some of the other settlements.” The robot beeps happily. “Our town is looking to enter more trade agreements to get the supplies we need. Crops and such are rare here, though we have many metals and excellent livestock.”
Snow has begun to fall in small flakes, gathering on the hair and eyelashes. The wind has picked up slightly, just enough to make it chilly.
Some of the guards smile slightly at snow. Due to Old Caterinna’s low elevation, it probably doesn’t snow often there.
”that would be wonderful, a trade route between here and Old Caterinna… it would be made easier due to the river, it’s how we got to this region… yes, this will be lovely! Lady Bouclaire will be pleased,” he smiles.
"Ya got that right. We've got a humid feel in the air here, but if you travel 10, 20 miles that way *points down the mountain ridge* you get freezing temperatures and constant blizzards. I personally think it's 'cause of the coastal breezes. Where are you trying to get to?"
Paracelsus speaks up “We have wheat, barley, and are in the process of growing corn.”
Octavio looks at Paracelsus, slightly surprised “He’s right. Not completely sure how he knew that. But he is correct. Will such crops be sufficient? Do note that we cannot supply you with much, as we too must feed our people.”
“That would be-“ Maja pauses, as if unsure of the word. “Amazing. Yes. We have plently of livestock, leathers, metals, and weapons if you require.”
Octavio smiles“Perfect. We’ll send a shipment over as soon as possible.”
Paracelsus perks up again “Where should we send it exactly? We don’t know where your settlement is.”

Yo, I'm Himy (He/him) not as active as I use to be, but I'm here from time to time. I don't got much else to say.
"From the stars of the inner sea, from the tower of insight, from the four corners of paradise, let them know; their story is filled with blessings. Only those free of sin may pass... Garden of Avalon!”
”The elements coalesce, amalgamate, and bring forth the star that interweaves all creation. Bow down with death! Enuma Elish!”
Meanwhile, in Old Caterinna, the lively town has been focusing on a few things: first off, their new symbol: they had chosen the Oleander. A white flower, known for its beauty, and for its ungodly amount of toxin. Second, it’s fishing industry: this part of the Tsaritsa has a healthy population of trout, special to this region, identifiable by their startlingly pink fins. Currently unnamed, it was decided by the head fisherman to name them Laurier trout, in honor of the new ruling noble families, collectively called the Lauriers.
in addition, Lady Bouclaire has been advertising commoners to volunteer to become guards for the new town. She recruits 3 military power worth of troops.
The robot beeps happily, flashing its facelight. The rest of the trip goes relatively smoothly - earthquakes and similar rumbles become common about 10 minutes into the ride as the earth moves, spikes and pitfalls appearing spontaneously. Both the robot, who informs you its name is Tese, and the animals seem to navigate this rather easily.
Eventually, the group reaches a more flat area, like a mini plateau, with an excellent view of ravine up ahead. It looks to be used as their quarry, with strange infrastructure using brass beams decorated with glow lichen, as well as hung jars of what appears to be bones. The settlement itself is set up onto the plateau, with a massive stone-brick castle decorated in limestone, quartz, and copper, the shape spiraling like a unicorn’s horn jutting out from a more traditional stronghold base. The rest of the buildings look to be made of stone as well, insulated with leathers, wool, and supported by metal beams. Each building has its own jar of bones hung outside, as well as small lanterns that appear to be burning coal. Smoke rises from the chimmneys - the buildings are almost all connected by walkways or direct doors to eachother, built vertically to conserve space. It’s very animal friendly, with several mounted riders going about their day on the streets.
”Welcome to Rhagoan!” Tese says cheerfully.

They carefully take a folded metal disk from their back, a map etched on it. “East, past the river. There’s a clear mountain pass about seventeen hoofbeats from where the river ends. Again, I appreciate this sincerely. You both are much kinder than I anticipated.”

“How wonderful!” He says cheerfully. “We’re on official business, so we’ll be talking to whoever is in charge. What do you call your settlement?”
"We call it" His tone changes to that of an enthusiastic "The Wind of the 'Wild!"
*blp*
“Interesting… well, we must be off now, to talk with the ruling body of this settlement.” He says, beginning to walk off towards the town, followed by his guards.
