Giratina thinks. "Maybe instead of an oath, an agreement. Temporary, to see how a partnership would play out. I would fight alongside you, and you would help me track down my quarry."
“That is perfectly fine with me. For now, my only lead on Malrick would be through the Locate Object spell.” Correlion sighs. “It has a range of 1000 ft, so I would need to flyby Umbraveth’s layer a few times. Or, we could perhaps wait until his invisibility drops. Once it is gone, I can scry him.”
Giratina begins to walk away. "Notify me when you are able to find him, or when you have need of my service."
"Of course. Best of luck, and try not to die until then."

*It’s in a tiny radius around the outer wall, it’s not directly harmful, and it doesn’t extend into Correlion’s lair. It’s a little bit useless of an effect because of where it’s situated, but I put it there for flavor purposes because it’s a castle warded against siege. Additionally, Correlion can’t just infinitely outrange people there anyway, ammunition automatically misses in that area, including for Correlion.*

They playfully nip at the hand, not actually biting it but getting decently close, before turning around and gesturing to the aforementioned crystal formation.
Correlion gently rubs its head. "Enjoy your paradise. Such places are few and far between." The angel opens its wings and takes off, flying up to the crystal formation.
As they approach the mineral-made connector of the grounds, Correlion notices the vegetation around it seems more organized. Rows rather than random placement. Less trees and more bushes bearing fruit. The space between looks as if it were non-artificially formed pathways of stone, with… odd beings crossing them. Rather than those of flesh and bone, spectral spirits wander the paths, from insects cutting through the bushes to a few ‘humanoids’ dancing with each other as if it were a ball. None of the creatures pay Correlion any head as they glide above.
The angel passes quickly, as if attempting to make as little commotion as possible. They stick to the more open spaces, towards the center.
After a short while of passing by rows of brushery and flowers, they spot the common form of Mushisama, with his mask and all, seemingly having a conversation with some of these specters, though non-verbally. In his arms he carries a rather large egg.
He is allowed many moments to think before a familiar voice cracks the silence. “M-Malrick?”
"Is that? No it cannot be!"
He turns his head to see an equally astonished cat looking back at them. They ask the same question. “M-Malrick?”
"Ghost!!!" Malrick rushes forwards, forgetting his Cat-etiquette. "Are you okay?"
The still thin undead feline does not say anything but pounces on him as Malrick approaches, clinging to his front in as close to a hug a quadruped can get.
Malrick returns the 'Embrace'. "I did not know where you went! I searched for you everywhere!"
“A-and I-I d-did t-too!” If cats cried to show emotion, tears would be streaming down Ghost’s face based on their tone. “B-but I-I w-was a-sucked i-into c-clouds.”
"What!?" Malrick chuckles. "It's nice to see you again, I'll take you home soon."

“C-can w-we th-throw p-party?”
"I'd love to! Have you seen Mushisama around here? we must invite him?"
They are able to grab a centipede and swiftly stuff it in their mouth head first. It tastes… normal.
Grimm enjoys his morsel, then continues down the chasm.
Close your eyes and visualize. The world we know today, with all its trees and sand and clay and stone. With its vast deserts and endangered rainforests. The endless horizon hiding secrets unknown to all but those who travel. Now, imagine it without mankind. The forests no longer harmed. The world colder that it is now, unaffected by the heat of pollution. No towers or dams to obstruct your view nor the rivers. The world, the planet, in its supposedly unhurt state.
Now see it, but larger. Flora the size of titans. Creatures thought dead frolicking in their shade, from the feathered reptiles to the specimens lost thanks to mortal greed. Canyons that could hold entire civilizations and still have room. Deserts more expansive than the true material plane is. Oceans whose depths reach into hell itself. A world so unimaginably huge, and so unimaginably diverse, it may well be the birthplace of the gods themselves. But it is not, for this still is the The Endless Dark.
Now, one final request. Within your mind, fold this impossible world over itself and populate with floating crystals between. Gravity follows less rules than before, and the sky is its ground and the ground is the others sky. Trees hanging from their roots and animal’s whose backs face others. The crystals that divide the two parallel yet matching realms float with no support, except perhaps the light that reflects and refracts through them, mocking sunlight from the material in this woefully underground place.
The moment Grimm crosses the edge of the chasm unto what is to him this upside down side, the gravity of his world shifts and he is no longer flapping down, but up.
*MAGNIFICENT*
Grimm doesn't know what to take in first! So many amazing sights and smells and sounds overflow his senses until it's all he can do to land on a tree. He nibbles a fruit from it.
Hanging on its branches are sleeping bats three times the size of the flying creature, their wrapped wings depicting rows upon rows of false eyes. The fruit he finds appears to be three intertwined, one red, the other blue, and
Grimm takes the rest of the half-eaten fruit in his mouth and flies away, scared of the larger bats.
He looks for something else in this amazing realm.
He notices above him, past the crystalline barrier of gravity, a flock of gazelle the size of trucks grazing in a meadow.
Grimm flies to a crystal overlooking the gazelle, observing.
