I don't see anyone arguing that we didn't cause 2020. I mean, we didn't invent Covid-19, but our failure to properly respond to it caused 2020 to be more awful than it would have been otherwise.

Haha where I am we responded to it... I live in a place called “Aotearoa” or “New Zealand”... but yes, I think 2020 was worth it because, while it was measly, we learnt a fair bit hopefully.
