With all the stress of conflict bearing down on her, something inside of Yvonne changed. Something snapped.
Anahita charges at GL0P with three claw attacks that deal 25 slashing damage each, and then another 16 missiles fly from her back, dealing 47 piercing damage to GL0P and each of his fire elementals and restraining them all. Yvonne is silent.

GLOP awakes to the piercing cold sweat on his face as three claw attacks rip into his chest and side. "AGHHHGHH!" Nothing has seemed to change the course of this battle between Elendon and Jerry. It's as if this moment was destined to become reality. GLOP remembers a strange quote he read once: "A hero will always rise, when they are needed."
Right before the impact of 16 missiles, GLOP flashes a brilliant orange and red color as he uses an ability that defies regular movement, FIRE DASH, in a blink and a quick flash, GLOP is suddenly behind Anahita. Images of the original battle between Elendon Starguide and Mendigo flash through his mind, as GLOP uses his FIRE DASH to repeatedly headbutt the mech suit. Flashing back and forth in random patterns, GLOP continues to headbutt the suit, even though his head aches, even though his legs burn (both literally on fire and muscle burn).
GLOP headbutts before dashing away so many times in a row, he can't think straight. "Mendigo...." GLOP is confused as Mendigo's voice sounds from somewhere distant. Suddenly as GLOP goes for a headbutt on Anahita, it DISAPEARS along with Yvonne. "What is this...." GLOP passes out in a dizzy confusion. A few seconds pass and then Anahita returns standing over a fire gnome with almost no FIRE left....

GLOP is suffocating. Immense pressure feels like it's making him FLAT against the floor, as if gravity was increased by one hundred times.
On second thought, it feels more like his bones became heavy steel and locked themselves to the ground like magnets. GLOP has a few minutes of life left AT BEST. His voice hoarse and barely audible: "Stargazer, are you, watching...." On the verge of passing out once more, GLOP tries to smile, but his face muscles are too dang tired and his cheeks muscles cramp. "Hopefully next time I get reincarnated as a rock gnome or something simple....I'd like that...."
GLOP can feel the push against his skeleton frame so intensely as one by one: SNAP! POP! ALL of Glop's limbs feel broken. They are broken, probably. GLOP imagines the mech suit is like a massive boot crunching a cockroach....This thought is morbid but it makes him chuckle. The chuckle turns into sobbing in pain. "This is how fire gnomes die I suppose. All that matters is that I did something before I...." GLOP passes out almost hoping he is dead before he wakes up, but he never seemed to have any LUCK getting what he wanted anyways.

The atomic explosion created by Mendigo reappears, as he quickly gets sucked back up into his floating position. All the events of Mendigo’s demise happen again in reverse. Mendigo is once again standing in the middle of the room, on fire, eyes glowing. He stands there for a second.
“Right, all caught up now.” Mendigo seems to have spent the previous time frame teaching himself the events that happened when he was dead. “Ha, you think you can defeat us? You might notice, Elendon, that your friends’ mech is a little, shall we say, occupied?” You turn and see that just as he said, the mech is wrapped up in glowing orange chains. They tighten, and the mech melts. The deities fall to the ground.
”You had a ‘true form’ Elendon. Well I have my own. You might have noticed the little light show I put on earlier. That wasn’t a last ditch effort to defeat you. No - far from it - that was me releasing the fire elemental trapped inside me, and letting my own ‘true form’ out. Enjoy this.”
Mendigo runs towards Elendon and his companions and drops small glowing bombs at their feet. They explode, to reveal holes in the ground. The deities all fall through into the void, and the holes shut behind them. “Now, whilst I know that won’t defeat you, it will keep you occupied while I deal with the others.”
“Hey, Mantis guy, are you… helping us? While I appreciate the help, you do have a tendency to double cross. Here.” Mendigo reaches his palm out towards him, and it glows orange. “If you have any intent of betraying us, this won’t work. But if you don’t, it will raise you to your blazing form, like the other followers.”
“Right, now your turn, evil guys.” Mendigo’s flaming body glows brighter. He then runs towards the enemies, and punches each of them in the face in quick succession. Whenever he punches someone, he also drops something in their mouths. He returns to his original spot. “Have fun with this!” As he says this, he outstretches his palms. Every single enemy in the room gets blown up from the inside.
“Will someone cut out that racket!?” He responds to the screams. He then sends one of his soldiers to investigate with the Mantis.

The Mantis attacks the soldier with its Plasmblade.
The skies grow darker as yet another, louder scream shakes the battlefield.
"What is that?" Gamer_Thirteen sends one of his Mantis Lieutenants, Pharahis, to investigate.
After a brief few seconds and another, now deafening shriek, Pharahis runs screaming in the other direction. One ominous, glowing red dot the size of a beach ball hangs in the air 40 or so feet in the air above you, dripping a glowing red fluid. The beast's form is revealed from the darkness soon after, as bright red magical runes glow all across its silksteel 'head' and four segmented arms, each tipped with a strange weapon. Another four arms, each with clawed hands at the end, unfurl from the back of the beast's central body, spreading like wings behind it.
Calamitas then turns to Jerry, hatred burning in its eye, and projects a ray of scarlet light from its core. After a while, Yvonne, now in dark steel armor with similar glowing runes, stands before him. "I've had it with this war. I've grown sick and tired of waiting for you to die, so I figured I'd get the job done myself. Then, once you're gone, I'll move on to the next cult. And the next. and the next, and I will SHOW THEM ALL ORDER!!" Yvonne then laughs, a horrifying sound that startles everyone to their core, before disappearing back into her machine.
Yvonne continues laughing maniacally as the cannons on Calamitas' arms charge up. A scarlet shield of energy surrounds it, and the skies grow darker still.

"Elendon, please tell me you're intelligent enough to know that Yvonne is the real evil here. Help us defeat her, we beg of you."
Helmut teleports over to Mendigo, lowers his voice, and says to him, "Mendigo, I think you might need to let Elendon's companions out for this. The wrath of a deity such as Elendon is nothing to laugh at, and we really, really need him to not be angry at us right now."
Helmut Distant-casts power word heal on Jerry to keep him alive for this fight. He then creates a blindingly white flash of light, and when it clears, the Silksteel Dreadnaught is fully restored. "I'd bring your companions back if I could, Elendon. Alas, I am subservient to Jerry and Mendigo, and so I am incapable of doing so under our current circumstances."
Helmut braces himself, and he begins burning with radiant flames, preparing for the final battle of the War of the Flame.
