 I think it makes sense for Cleric paladin warlock and all that but not all classes, I wouldn't really want to get a subclass as rogue at level 1.

 Yeah, it works better then others to some. I'm fine with rogue staying the same, but warlock for example getting its subclass later just doesn't make as much sense as Level 1, yet that's what the new stuff is doing.

It’s kinda weird that they get their subclasses At level 3 now for Sorcerer, warlock, Paladin, and Cleric, but I do understand why. Level one is supposed to be more simple for newer players while level 3 is a good starting level for more experienced players. and I’m mostly just going to have players pick out their subclass beforehand for those classes if we start at level one so we can work out the backstory stuff and it can still fit with their character and stuff.

So, i know some of y’all might be interested in PBP games, but you feel it’s too much commitment or you don’t simply have time. Well, I do have time, and so, I present this offer:

The god of portals is long thought to be dead, the husk of his body embedded in the spire below Sigil. But, something has changed. Portals throughout the planes have begun to act strangely, and still believing devotees of the dead god have begun to receive powers. When the portals start causing havoc, the Inter-dimensional Threat Prevention Society (IDPTS), an adventurers guild based in Sigil, spearheads the effort to restore balance. They call upon heroes from all worlds, and one of those heroes…is you!

That’s the hook for the game. I’ll have a ton of people join, and you can get on whenever and contribute to the story. The explanation for your character randomly popping in and out of the game is the crazy portals. to be clear, this is not an RP thread, but an actual game you can pop in whenever you like once you apply and are accepted.

 Still figuring out the level. It would have the “pop in whenever you want” capability of an RP thread, but with a real story and progression

 True. Most new players just go martial anyway though, I certainly did and most others I know did

 I might be interested, but really depends on the level. I like 1- 5 most but thats probably too low for that
