Honestly, I was never certain if the scheduled maintenance would help, just hoping it would. The maintenance was for the new revised Players Handbook that is being released for those that preordered today.
Still sucks that the issue couldn't be resolved alongside of adding the new core book's functionality to the site.

One of the staff did mention the issue has been passed to the DDB team, so it is known. It's likely the crunch time with the new book release probably pushed the notification and posting issue's priority back though, which sucks a lot and is frustrating, but understandable at least to me.
