Idk. I’m assuming this is the lead up to a joke and not a genuine question
Nuh uh I wanna know
Depends on what you think Santa is, I’d say hell.
No it’s somewhere in the North Pole but I don’t know the street
Why? You trying to give him a letter, because original Saint Nick is dead.
Fun fact, a popular story about St. Nicholas is of him punching Arius. As the story goes Arius was talking about Arianism and St. Nicholas went over to punch him.
Odds are the story didn't happen like that. The story of it appeared decently later. And even if it did, would've been more likely to be a light "corrective" slap than an actual "this is gonna" slap/punch.
But it's fun to mention at Christmas time.
Interesting. But in order for that story to make any sense, the person you’re telling it to has to know who Arius is. And I don’t think most people today know that (I do though).
True.
So the quick summary for those that don't: Arius was a bishop in Alexandria Egypt that lived 256-336 AD. He was the originator of Arianism, which caused the Arian Crisis and a lot of theological debate within the early Christian church. The Council of Nicaea in 325 AD firmly rejected Arianism in favor of Trinitarianism. (Though things still remained tumultuous for a few decades after.) The key difference being Arianism holds Jesus is a creature created by God whereas Trinitarianism holds Jesus as God and part of the Trinity. (God the Father. God the Son. God the Holy Spirit.
Side fun fact: The Council of Nicaea is also where it was decided that Christmas is celebrated on December 25th. It's also why Orthodox Christmas is a different day because when the Council was held it was 12/25 on the Julian calendar. Later when Pope Gregory XIII introduced the Gregorian calendar the Catholic Church readjusted its liturgical year to use the Gregorian calendar whereas the Orthodox east stayed on the Julian calendar for its liturgical year. And that's why they're different dates now.

O sorrow, I have ended, you see, by respecting you, because I am certain you will never leave me.
Ah! I realize it: your beauty lies in the force of your being. You are like those who never left the sad fireside corner of my poor black heart.
O my sorrow, you are better than a well-beloved: because I know that on the day of my final agony, you will be there, lying in my sheets, O sorrow, so that you might once again attempt to enter my heart.
I was thinking (as always) of a busy market street, filled with spirits and monsters of all kinds. Neon lights, hanging lanterns, hawkers, everything. I would want it to be story-based thread with a softer magic system than dnd (think like you have spell points, and you can spend 0-3 to create an effect within an area of expertise).
It wouldn't be a high-conflict story, so I'd have to really wow people with my characters and descriptions.

That sounds pretty neat. A story-based thread like that would need clear thematic atmosphere to inspire character creation. I know you want dark whimsy which is great but it would help to have some examples or a clearer description of the place to better define the vibe. I know that was just a simple description though, not the full tavern.

I've got two music videos and Spirited Away for player inspiration already. I will look for more.

I want to make something anime-inspired and darkly whimsical.
I don't know how to make that, however.

Maybe look for anime drawings and let that inspire you?
I was looking at goblin images the other day when I found one that inspired me to make a monster.
