Good evening! I'm enjoying the massive burst of rain where I live. I live in mid United States, and where I live the weather makes no sense. Like random 30 degree temperature drops, or how I suddenly can't have a white Christmas but can have a white March. The rain started while I posted this, but stopped almost entirely starting on this sentence.

Yep
I don’t think it’s for my friend group but it’s an amazing camp game in my mind. I’ve played it with my siblings. I think it is a bit more fun in real life

I don’t want to join but I’m interested in why people like one player campaigns. Personally I’ve always liked things in groups, especially anything with friends. In my mind the more the merrier (to some extent, once you hit like 30 people in a party it can be a bit much, party referring to a normal party not a TTRPG one). Doesn’t it get old to do everything by yourself? In normal groups (I usually play in a group of 6 - 7 players plus the DM) it’s nice because everyone is thinking about combat, social interactions, and puzzles. It’s nice to do a couple innovative or smart things each session and also have others building on your ideas or making better ones of their own. Just feels very collaborative. As messy as it is it can even be fun to have some sessions with high amounts of players like 14. It’s not ideal at all, but worth it to experience once or twice. You feel more like a miniature army, especially at low levels. It makes interesting one shots
You can group up in my campaign. This is here just because most play by posts struggle with waiting for everyone to finish posting, and just in case anyone wants to play like a 1 player video game. I like in person D&D with groups the best. It's just harder with play by posts for it to work with groups. This way, I guess it feels less like D&D and more like a text adventure game, just following D&D rules.
But you can play in groups in my campaign. The only thing making it different is that you aren't forced to wait for others. But if you want to group up, I'm going to need a few players.
