I have been playing Dragon Age Inquisition and the impulse to complete every available side quest before moving on in the main story is impossible to resist.

Ooh, I think I’ve heard of that game. What’s it about?
Well, hello friends. I haven’t seen you all since last year.

Love makin' that joke. Gonna tell it to my friends as soon as Christmas Break is over.

Hi there! My name's Elk. I'm NoiSilverheart's doppelgänger. I'm a demi/grayromantic, socially awkward Okie who may or may not be a pyromaniac. *random confetti blast*
I'm a warlock of the Archcrone, and my patron is TheFriendlyArchfey. I was nicknamed AchatesCervus8337 by VitusW and given the titles "Swashbuckling Scorcher", "The Unpredictable Jedi", "Burning Fury of the Ancients", and "Combustion Knight" by DrummerBoyDragonSlayer.

also, happy new years!
Happy new years.
It's a fantasy game where you play a character that become a leader of an organization trying to bring order to the world after the death of the Divine (a bit like the pope only much more powerful) in an event that rips a hole in the sky between the normal world and the realm of spirits and demons known as the fade. It's got magic and you have teammates you can travel around with sort of like a D&D party.
It's the third game in the series and its a lot of fun, I'm playing it so I can be caught up on the lore of the world before playing Veilguard, the most recent game in the series to come out.

That sounds like a blast! I recently got a game of my own, total war Warhammer 3, which is like a tactical war and civilization building game where you conquer the world, in a fantasy setting! I haven’t played it yet, since I’m trying to figure out what faction to try first. There are like 20 of them…

Sounds fun, if a bit complicated. I get a bit overwhelmed with games like that sometimes, always fretting over the choices.

Yeah, there are a lot of choices… *shudders*
not only are there like 20 factions, you also choose a lord for your faction from a selection of lords, each faction having two or three, some having six or seven. And it drastically affects the game… like, you can play as one faction, the Skaven, which are rat people, but the different lords change the game from just rat people to, ‘rat people mercenary assassin ninjas,’ or, and I am not kidding, ‘rat people with steampunk Gatling gunks and literally just actual nuclear bombs.”
its a fantasy setting, remember.
