And to do this, a Winxy Pistol fires into the past in order to find its mark as the Bandersnatch runs past where it was about to shoot, so it’s never too early or too late. Normal pistols are also just… not fast enough to hit a Bandersnatch, so some time shenanigans is necessary. So basically, it’d allow you to use it for weird time shenanigans, and it’d allow you to target a creature as if you were shooting it one turn before, completely ignoring any spells they might used to defend themselves, like shield or mage armor. However, if they just stopped concentrating on say, Fizban’s platinum shield, then that means if you fire with a Winxy Pistol, you’ll be rolling as if they had the shield. But I can’t use that since it’d be a player option.
