Did you know? Octopodes and/or squids (I forget which) are capable of evolving much faster and much less predictably than pretty much any other organism on Earth. Most other creatures that could do this evolved themselves into extinction, so it's very impressive that they've been able to survive so long. Plus, they are very intelligent. Who knows, they might end up evolving to be even smarter than us humans a century or two down the line. Probably going to happen before other primates reach that level of intelligence.
