Okay, important random question. I need a shipment of Amazonian scarab beetles asap, but I can't get them due to the fact that literally every store tht would be able to get them to me on specialty order is closed. Does anyone have some I could purchase, or know anyone who would be willing to sell some to me? I need at least a mating pair able to produce offspring. I'm not really picky about how crafty they get to escape, as I plan on letting them roam my garden to pollinate some of my rarer flowers (my Victoria Amazonicas decided to be little turds and germinate for some reason before I was ready, even though I kept them in hibernation conditions).
Thanks for taking the time to read that little panic post. Have a nice day, everyone!

Hi there! I'm a Christian musician based in Canada :)
I, for once in my life, am actually not joking. I grow a few rare plants in my garden, such as Kadupul plants, and Victoria Amazonicas, but these require a lot of special care. I can take care of the Amazonicas by hand if need be, but having scarabs to help would ensure that they grow more healthily.

What do you mean by that? I'm just asking around on various platforms to see if anyone happens to have scarab beetles. I don't see what's so odd about that?

It’s the internet. I’ve almost been banned on fandom for making jokes because I didn’t phrase it right and no one could hear the sarcasm. It’s ok

I watch. I wait. I listen. I like roleplaying games. Avid fan of messed up homebrew and horror rpgs. Lancer>dnd5e, go read Kill Six Billion Demons. I will shoot you with my transgenderification beam pew pew
Anyway, in all seriousness, nothing brings me more satisfaction than seeing my beautiful plants open up and reveal their flowers after I work so hard to make them happy enough to bloom, especially when those blooms are the rare ones! Victoria Amazonica flowers only bloom for forty eight hours before disappearing, and Kadupul flowers only bloom for, at most, 4 before they wither. It's such a wonderous thing to know that you carefully and lovingly reared some of the rarest flowers in the world, and that now they show their appreciation by gifting you with the sight of blossoms that only a lucky few will ever have the privilege of witnessing in person. Kadupul flowers only bloom at midnight under the full moon, and will always wither at dawn, but staying up all night to bask in their divine beauty is well worth it, even without taking into account the addictingly sweet scent that spills forth from their radiant flowers. I could sit beneath the moonlight, reveling in the blessings of those flowers for the rest of time, especially if the Victoria Amazonicas bloom at the same time. It's utterly breathtaking. Words cannot describe the heavenly experience of watching these flowers open when bathed in moonlight. Their delicate display is majestic.

Indeed it is! :D
Gardening keeps the depression at bay, haha.
Plus I get to brag that I grow some of the rarest and most covered flowers in the world.
