Give this little ark rn time to wrap up, once they make it to base you and amgonnayeet will become the new teammates! Just, himme up with the sheet when ur done and tell me the backstory. (I might change some stuff and tell you some things, but that’s for later)

Do whatever. I like rolling, but I think most people used standard in the campaign.

If I may request, I use point buy with 30 points and it can go up to 18, it’s fine if no, I have stats rolled that are good just Incase

I'm currently playing a changeling hexblade that's trying to conquer the Sword Coast and the rest of Faerun. 

I have a character concept that I'm working on, but I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to use it. 

What is it, maybe if you join we can interweave our character backstorys together some how...

Here's the concept: 

Race: Wood Elf or Variant Human

Subclass and Class: Arcana Cleric

Name: Teria Vorntil

Though she isn't very book-smart, Teria has dedicated her life to learning magic. She loves arcane magic, but not quite enough to become a wizard. Teria loves to pretend to be a master of the arcane arts, and she surely can do spells and abilities similar to a wizard or sorcerer, but she isn't a wizard, sorcerer, or warlock. She's instead a cleric. She doesn't happen to worship any deities, but more the concept of magic itself. Drawing arcane and divine power from [insert source of magic in X world], Teria is determined to spread the good word of magic, teaching others of how the don't have to spend years in a library studying obscure facts about the universe, but instead devote yourself to magic, and magic will come to you.

I would say variant human tbh, get a free feat like tough or magic initiate  

Yeah. I was probably going to take Variant Human for the feat and skill. Magic Initiate is probably the feat I was going to take, or Ritual Caster. She will have a familiar, a weasel named Mook.

Is it bad that I want to also have a weasel now?

I'm torn between Ritual Caster and Magic Initiate. If I were to take Magic Initiate I would choose Wizard to get a familiar, and 2 wizard cantrips (non-combat focused so I don't need high intelligence). If I take this, I could take Green-Flame Blade or Booming Blade to focus on damage a bit, but I don't think I want to do this, really. 

If I were to take Ritual Caster I could take Find Familiar, along with another ritual, like Identify, Tenser's Floating Disk, or Unseen Servant. This feels more drawing to me, but I still haven't made up my mind. 

Any ideas?
