So I was watching Brooklyn 99 (already the best comedy show and I’m already a few episodes in) and there was this joke about how fire fighters are all really dumb (the episode is about a cop/fire fighters rivalry thing) and it showed a clip of like the fire fighter captain or whatever looking at a puddle on the floor, someone says, “I think it’s Gasoline,” and then they say, “I think it’s water. Only one way to be sure.” They then pull out a match and light the gasoline.

Yep it’s great, I just got to the episode that starts with them breaking up a fight between two Santas.
I'd probably go with Scully and Hitchcock. They're not bad characters, but they get less personality than the others. So more a case of "the others are so awesome that even good is less by comparison."
