Ehlers danlos syndrome is by definition, a connective tissue disorder. Connective tissues are the glue, tape, and velcro that hold all the bones n stuff together. They're also in your skin, brain, heart etc. Hence there are a lot of different types, from the one that makes your skin stretchy (guiness world record holder for stretchiest skin has that one) to the one that makes you die by 40(thank god its the rarest). That's why it's also called HSD or hypermobile spectrum disorder. As for me, I just have weak flexible joints and chronic pain, so it could be worse. I encourage you to look up the subject, it's fascinating.

I agree that it’s fascinating. Both of my parents are biologists, although I have a burning passion for astrophysics, biology and stuff like that is awesome. How bad is/what are the details of your chronic pain, if you don’t mind me asking?
