Thalia was an orphan raised by two strongmen who worked in the Stanton Circus. They raised and cared for her until she turned 20 and became the third member of the Stanton Circus Strongmen (and woman) act. The crowd loved them. Sadly, a rival ringmaster caused a fire in the tent during one of the shows, causing the entire thing to burst up in flame, killing no one except Thalia’s adoptive fathers Toreck (Half-Orc) and Nickal (Human). The audience was appalled by this and immediately turned on Thalia, believing her demonic heritage somehow caused the flames. Thalia, traumatized by that night, ran away from the circus and vowed vengeance on the man who took her parents.

Okay, hear me out. What if there was a fighter subclass that focused on the anatomical accuracy of strikes. I call it The Surgeon. Fighters who choose that archetype would have an expert understanding of the anatomy of humanoids, beasts, dragons, giants, and any other creatures with anatomies similar to that of those four types. Features would include being able to cut a major artery instead of dealing damage, proficiency on Wisdom (Medicine) checks, and so on. What do y'all think?

So far at 3rd level, the features you gain are (Might replace the second one with favored anatomy)
Bonus proficiency: You have proficiency on Wisdom (Medicine) checks and herbalism kit
Surgeon Spellcasting (Might switch with below): You learn the Cure wounds and Healing Word spells. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells. You can cast each spells a number of times equal to half your Wisdom modifier (rounded up) per long rest.
Favored Anatomy (Might use instead of Surgeon Spellcasting): You have dedicated your studies of anatomy to a certain type of monster. Choose a type of monster other than Undead, Construct, Plant, or Elemental. When you deal slashing or piercing damage to creature of this type, you deal extra damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.
