Yeah, it always sucks having mostly casters. You don't really have anyone who can damage sponge and draw aggro when pretty much all you have is casters. Opportunity attacks are also really annoying when they're bein' used against you.

Less healing than cure wounds but it's a bonus action so you still get an attack in, has range, and still does the job of getting them up from 0hp.
Yeah, it's pretty effective in a lot of situations.
