Technically Chip is actually 16, because Tony Tony Chopper, who Chip is based off of, has two canon ages we see, 15, and 17, and Chip’s like 4’1 due to his fennec fox genes, so he still looks like a kid, but also he’s a doctor. I didn’t make him to be a fighter, bro is there to make everyone‘s paternal instincts kick in lmao. Anyway, I hope someday a stranger will call him a jackrabbit for the funnies. Or a kangaroo rat.

It's like a Wild West meets post-apocalyptic dystopia tavern. The bar where most of everything takes place is overrun with outlaws and other bad types, and Chip is a very young, unsupervised child, so in my opinion it's pretty reasonable. But yes, part of it is that I just want chaos to run rampant.
