Yeah I was just looking through the book, and most of the eldritch horrors are surprisingly small. The three biggest ones are Cthulhu the Great Dreamer (size 22, blue whale size) a Dhole (giant worm things that aren’t even great old ones, size 65, battleship size) and Azathoth the Blind Idiot God (size infinity, can change size infinitely)
Hi all, I'm Druid_Girl31, but please call me Druid. I am (a/an) CERTIFIED INSOMNIAC, PAN, alterhuman,BADDD DM, and obsessed with HAMILTON! Why? I'm just cool like that!
Anyone wanna RP on the Singing Spore for a little bit?

I'm just imagining Paul Atreides riding a Dhole now.
Also you gotta be a terrible eldritch horror when instead of an intimidating named you're called "Blind Idiot God."
Yeah so Azathoth’s whole thing is that it’s sleeping and unaware of its surroundings, and the entire universe is just its dream, which will end when it wakes up, so there are like hundreds of great old ones and lesser creatures playing music for it so it doesn’t wake up. There’s a monster statblock for it and that is its entire job.
If i had a nickle for every time i had to use a wheelchair in disneyland i'd have 2 nickles
Which isn't a lot, but it's weird the it happened twice.
Recognized the quote, but didn’t know where it was from. Frantically Googled. Turns out, it’s from Phineas and Ferb — a show I’ve never watched besides maybe a single episode.
Oh yeah I just stumbled upon Cthulhu’s actual statblock and compared to All the other monsters (besides Azathoth and Hastur, those two are equally scary) Cthulhu is terrifying. Like, 160 health, 550 con, 700 strength, and 210 intelligence, and its faster in all movement speeds than humans, and 1d3 humans near it die instantly every turn from being torn apart from tentacles and claws, and it has 6 hitpoint a turn regeneration and knows all but two or three spells.
the highest a human can have in a stat is around 100.

It's a commonly memed quote. I watched some Phineas and Ferb back when it aired, but didn't know the quote until I saw it used in a meme context.
According to the call of Cthulhu rpg guidebook, Cthulhu is the size of a blue whale.
just thought they would’ve been bigger.
I always pictured Cthulhu being the size of an island.
i imagined it being the size of small country

I imagined Cthulhu being about the size of Godzilla when it had just woken up, but growing in size and power as it became more lucid.
I always vividly imagined Cthulhu to be so uncomprehendingly GARGANTUAN that its eye would fill the sky, and a human, the size of a speck of dust, would fall past a gaping pupil

You wouldn't be able to fall into its pupil. There's a layer of clear tissue in front of the iris and pupil called the cornea. (I have dissected a cow's eyeball before.)

You know, Cthulhu in the original Lovecraft wasn't that strong. Only like 1 of the people who saw him went insane, and he only killed like 3 humans. And one guy managed to stop him from escaping R'lyeh by ramming him in the head with a cruise ship, which caused his head to explode (It did start regening though). He wasn't an actual Great Old One.

Huh.
well either way, in the Call of Cthulhu game, Cthulhu is an official great old one so it’s kinda canon now. But that’s cool, I knew about the whole attacking him with a ship thing, but I forgot that they were described as like the “Priest,” of the great old ones.
