I need inspiration on a theme for a dungeon for, let's say, 5 lv5 adventurers.
what was that witch up to?
the floor. The ceiling. The walls. The WATER. It’s all candy. The monsters, candy. Even the traps? Candy. Call it something like Hansel’s haven. Every once in a while, the party needs to make a check to resist eating the sweet, sweet Candy. If they do, well then, they just took a bite out of a bunch of moss. It’s all fake, and most of it is poisonous!
Interesting, gets some inspiration going. Any ideas on what you like as a witch statblock? (I'm not comfortable with heavy homebrew, so primarily sticking with pre-existing blocks.) Preferably using one from this list.
The list doesn’t filter anything out for me, I think it’s just my device though.
Of course there’s the Green Hag, a mage could work. A fun one would be the red grung for a lower level (give it a candy steel defender and it’ll be fine) wraiths could work, or maybe for the theme a slightly weakened Spring or Autumn Eladrin with some spells related to healing and enchantment.
You know, sometimes we're not prepared for adversity. When it happens sometimes, we're caught short. We don't know exactly how to handle it when it comes up.
