Texas is the only state that could match Florida in a state Battle Royale. They are a little less crazy but make up for it will all their guns.
You're forgetting Ohio.
Also, IMO, Texas definitely likes guns but I wouldn't call them crazy. Though I'm now reminded of a story of someone I knew that was travelling to Texas, bought a gun there, and then realized, "Wait. I'm in a hotel. How am I going to do this?" And ended up going with, "It's Texas. Make sure it's clear it's not loaded and you're fine."
I'm not sure how many years ago. (It was a dude that would be in his ~70s now.) And I might be misremembering some details. But it's a fun story.

I'm an actor, writer, singer (opera, musical theatre, and rock are my preferred genres), backpacker, and tall person (6'5 and counting). Pronouns are whatever, I mostly use They/Them though.
My Characters: Elsenia Selevarum:The Popular Paladin, Aasimar Noble, Level 4 Paladin of Redemption;
Seems decent. Though the damage output and utility is low for a 9th level spell, as well as taking your concentration, when you could be casting things like Invulnerability, Blade of Disaster, or Weird, for much better damage and utility. Maybe lower the spell slot cost?

I would say Texans have the crazy to match Florida, but because of that I don’t think they would win the battle Royale, I say that as a Texan.
