Buy full suit of plate mail and go as a knight boom easy excuse to own a full suit of plate mail because that would just be sick to have
I also haven't been thinking about it
Put on the oldest looking clothes I have and say I'm a ghost from that era, or contract jaundice, put on a striped shirt and go as Kris or Frisk Deltarune/Undertale

In my neighborhood we don't really get trick-or-treaters. (Zero for the last few years.) So even if I do get a costume I'd probably not be seen by anyone.
