I was playing in an AL game and my DM would not allow my Warlock with a Greatsword (2H) Pact Weapon to gain the Hex Warrior feature since supposedly it no longer applies to pact weapons when you gain Pact of the Blade feature at warlock 3rd level. I could not find an official errata but was shown on dndbeyond that this was changed recently. Namely this last sentence was removed:
"If you later gain the Pact of the Blade feature, this benefit extends to every pact weapon you conjure with that feature, no matter the weapon’s type."
If i create a Greatsword with the Pact of the Blade feature, it becames a pact weapon but not a hex weapon right? So after ive summoned the greatsword i have to make a long rest and use the Hex Warrior skill to use the Charisma modifyer instead of strength right? If im wrong can you told whats the requirement to create a hex weapon?
If you are a hexblade, and if you conjure a weapon with your Pact of the Blade feature, then Hex Warrior applies to it. No further effort needed. IMO, the need to bond with the weapon at the end of a long rest only applies if you pick up a magic weapon along your adventures and want to bond with that *specific* weapon, and not just an ethereal weapon conjured by Pact of the Blade
Whenever you finish a long rest, you can touch one weapon that you are proficient with and that lacks the two-handed property. When you attack with that weapon, you can use your Charisma modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls. This benefit lasts until you finish a long rest. If you later gain the Pact of the Blade feature, this benefit extends to every pact weapon you conjure with that feature, no matter the weapon’s type.
Pact of the Blade
You can use your action to create a pact weapon in your empty hand. You can choose the form that this melee weapon takes each time you create it ... You can transform one magic weapon into your pact weapon by performing a special ritual while you hold the weapon. You perform the ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a short rest.
How it Works
If you have Hex Warrior but not Pact of the Blade: at the end of a long rest you can touch a one-handed weapon and use your Charisma for attack and damage
If you have Pact of the Blade but not Hex Warrior: You can conjure any melee weapon as an action, or over a short rest bind a specific magic weapon to this ability to be summoned as an action
If you have both: You can conjure or bind any melee weapon per Pact of the Blade, and use your Charisma for attack and damage rolls with it when summoned, no long rest required. In addition, you may also touch a separate one-handed weapon after a long rest and use your Charisma for attack and damage rolls, per Hex Warrior
Per this Jeremy Crawford tweet: The Hex Warrior feature is intentionally worded to extend its benefit to two potential weapons: the weapon you touch and a pact weapon you conjure.

Is anyone able to confirm this up?
The rules on D&D Beyond are always updated to match the latest printings of the books with errata applied.
That said, I am not aware of such errata and I will note that both references to the Hex Warrior subclass feature remain as you expected:
https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/xgte/subclasses#HexWarrior
https://www.dndbeyond.com/classes/warlock#HexWarrior-757
I am not sure what the DM showed you, but it seems unlikely it was D&D Beyond?

"We got this, no problem! I'll take the twenty on the left - you guys handle the one on the right!"🔊
Hex warrior still has that sentence everywhere I looked (except snippet text which shortens descriptions).
The effect does not automatically apply to pact weapons on character sheets though (they have to also be seleceted as hex weapons).
You have to check a box on teh weapon itself in the equipment menu first Hex weapon then Pact Weapon, and it will show as intended in the Sheet.
And yes your DM is dead pan wrong with this one.
"Normality is but an Illusion, Whats normal to the Spider, is only madness for the Fly"
Kain de Frostberg- Dark Knight - (Vengeance Pal3/ Hexblade 9), Port Mourn
Kain de Draakberg-Dark Knight lvl8-Avergreen(DitA)
Your DM is wrong. Just wrong. I have a pretty new XGtE, and it doesn't state what your DM is saying.
D&D is a game for nerds... so I guess I'm one :p
