I'm having the same problem with losing the cleric spell list. It looks like we should just be able to add the cleric spell list to the class, but that does not seem to work. I'm stumped.

You are not able to do this currently. It is a limitation within the system. A work around was posted earlier in the thread that you can look at if you want to. If that isn't working you are just going to have to remember that you have swapped out the spell, unfortunately.
How do I change out my free divine magic spell with a different spell? I don't see an option for it on my sheet so im stuck with cure wounds xD
You can't.
Only workaround is create a homebrew copy of the subclass and edit the feature to give you the spell you want.

So this is a bug then?
More like a limitation of how the system is set up, rather than a bug. The system is being revamped eventually so this might be rectified then.

I just told my DM that I was switching it out. So even though it says Bane, I say I'm casting Guiding Bolt when we play and it's fine.
I tried to make a copy of the subclass, but even when I didn’t change a thing, it removed the cleric spell list. Am I missing something?
