Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 slashing damage.
Shortbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 40/160 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or become poisoned for 1 minute. If its saving throw result is 5 or lower, the poisoned target falls unconscious for the same duration, or until it takes damage or another creature takes an action to shake it awake.
Heart Sight. The sprite touches a creature and magically knows the creature's current emotional state. If the target fails a DC 10 Charisma saving throw, the sprite also knows the creature's alignment. Celestials, fiends, and undead automatically fail the saving throw.
Invisibility. The sprite magically turns invisible until it attacks or casts a spell, or until its concentration ends (as if concentrating on a spell). Any equipment the sprite wears or carries is invisible with it.
Yes they do. Now equipment is up to you. Special powers come with the summons of pact of the chain. Same with imp etc.
They are mainly for a companion since they can go invisible you can use them in many different ways than combat
are there female sprites? or is a female sprite a pixie and a male pixie a sprite? are sprites and pixies variations of the same race, like high elves and drow, or are they not related?
I want this as my ally
might piss off an archfey though
That wouldn't make any sense since they're whole thing is that they are tiny fairies that use weapons, not spellcasters.
an artificer could technically infuse the sprites leather armor, longsword or shortbow...
*a spellcasting variety of sprite appears and casts goodberry* wAnNa sPrItE cRaNbErRy?
(if nobody gets this joke i will be very sad)
Am I the only person that wants a necromantic cookbook now? I just wanna have a zombie make me a pie or something.
ok fair seems dangerous
I probably shouldn’t, but I want to see that as well.
Sounds like something a DM would have to decide.
The sprite's Invisibility skill states. The sprite magically turns invisible until it attacks or casts a spell, or until its concentration ends (as if concentrating on a spell).
I'm guessing that a warlock with a sprite familiar can have it use the help action every turn without it losing invisibility?
Good use of the sprite is to have it
i would say yes, i would rule that a pact use of find familiar is different in the way that it can actually be the creature
I will say, sprites are one of my favorite critters.
That's a fun idea!
Can easily imagine one of these insisting "I am not cute! >:(" in a high pitched voice.
Can Sprites hover ? It says that they have a fly speed but doesn't specify whether or not they hover.
Any warlock can get this as a familiar if they choose pact of the chain.
