I'm not sure this counts as homebrew, though it does not count as official yet so... will the unearthed arcana stuff be added anywhere, or be allowed to be added anywhere, once homebrewing of races/classes/backgrounds is turned on?
UA is playtest material, rather than published rules.
I'd like to see it formally added as public homebrew by wizards.
You can always add any UA you want as private homebrew.
Is it / will it be possible to use custom values for various elements that are currently dropdowns? Using spells as an example, I might have reasons to classify a spell as "10th level" (for reasons) , or say that it belongs to an entirely new school of magic than the eight existing schools.
If you create a custom monster by starting with the druid, there doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of the language line "Druidic plus any two languages".
Confirmed - seems there is something odd with the way that "Druidic plus any two languages" is added, that doesn't allow it to be displayed in the editor and removed.
The same problem exists for the commoner's "Any one language (usually Common)" and the awakened tree's "One language known by its creator".
Latest deploy adds a Language Override Note field to the form that will allow you to enter snippets for language notes, like "One language known by its creator" versus adding defined language mappings.
If you create a custom monster by starting with the druid, there doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of the language line "Druidic plus any two languages".
This is fixed now KatoKatonian, there is a new Language Note field towards the bottom of the form that is used for providing that language override note versus adding defined language mappings.
So for some reason today, I'm now getting an "internal server error" whenever I select the option to create a monster from scratch. Now I have to use an existing monster as a template in order to make any monster.

This is fixed now, Clockwerk66. Thanks for reporting!

Thanks a bunch!
By the way, I also have two monsters in my "Homebrew Creations" named "Cracious" and "Glorious", and for some reason both of them are giving me internal server errors whenever I try to expand their details. Not sure what's up with that. :/
They have stats higher than 30, which, we've decided is game breaking per Wizards guidelines, so we've implemented a cap. If you open the edit forms for those they will trigger a validation error now on the stats, noting the max value allowed. Setting those back to 30 will fix the display error.
I was playing with the Homebrew magic item creation and I wanted to add the Booming Blade cantrip to the item. I noticed that Booming Blade is listed in the main spell list (though it lacks details), but was not selectable from the dropdown menu in the homebrew section. I wasn't sure if this was intentional because the spell is noted as not being available until launch, or if it should be selectable and we would just have to enter the spell details manually.
I'm having issues creating what I guess you would consider an Exotic Weapon, not necessarily a magic weapon. I'm trying to create a Battlehammer that is a light weapon, deals 1d6 bludgeoning damage, and is usable by anyone with hammer proficiency (either light or the Warhammer). I'm stuck basing it off a mace, but I want to be able to edit the line that says:
"Proficiency with a mace allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it."
If I alternatively base it off of the Warhammer, I get the tag "Versatile" that I can't delete. (Same problem with basing it off the Light Hammer, in that case it's a "Thrown" tag I can't delete)
Ideally, this would be something that is actually specified on some other page, perhaps the character page for whether the character has proficiency with the weapon.
I also see no space to specify the weight of the new item.
please add a way to rate the homebrew content. because some of it is just .... over the top ponkers XD
and please add a way to give feedback to the creators . either publicly or privately. you think that one threw you are much smarter than me :D. but dont forgit to add a report system if a comment is too mean :)

Yeah, this would be a good addition to implement later down the line.
Hello, here are a few things that have come up for me, apologies if already mentioned:
1. The various notes boxes in the monster creator exhibit some odd behvaiour and missing features on iPad. Note that this may only apply to the iOS 11 beta, in which case please disregard:
- After scrolling to roughly the bottom of the ‘Features’ box, any use of the arrow keys on a keyboard attached to the iPad will jump the scroll position for the whole page about as well as moving the cursor
- Text selection seems finicky - occasionally words will not select, the cursor will not draw, etc.
- Keyboard shortcuts for bold and so forth don’t work.
2. I would like a way to distinguish between unique NPCs and monsters. This applies also to the monster listing.
3. There is no way to add a custom damage resistance/immunity/vulnerability, you can only select from existing ones.
4. Text pasted in seems to have incorrect line spacing. I am not sure line spacing can actually be edited in these boxes, so it seems that it should be stripped out automatically.

As an addendum to this, it would also be nice to be able to add custom monster tags.

There should be a way to comment on other peoples creations, to suggest things they could do to balance or improve them.

Lead designer of: Druid Wild Shape Revised, Druid: Circle of Monstrosity (Homebrew class), Revised Classes : Focus on level 20.
Homebrewer of: Halwasa`s Mushrooms of fluid movement (Item), Giraffe (Beast), Displacer Panther (Beast) (heavily modified Displacer Beast that is owned by WoC), Lightning whip (2nd-level Spell), Lesser Shapechange (5th-level Spell), Investiture of Lightning (6th-level Spell), Touched by the magic (Feat).
I'm not sure if this has been pointed out yet, but when creating a homebrew magic item, you cannot select homebrew spell as a spell the item can cast.
I have found homebrew magic items a good stop-gap way to implement Feats or custom racial qualities. But some require homebrew spells for effects.

I couldn't edit a skill. I forgot to put the bonus, and it won't let me go back and change it. It shows as +0

At this point I think that you've to create a new version of the monster to fix the error (once published this seems the only way to edit them).
