I have a homebrew class that I would like to publish but I am getting an error - This homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass.
This homebrew is inspired by video game content but the keyword is inspired by. I have started with named stuff from the game for reference for myself but then went through the whole thing and renamed everything and I am still getting this error. Can I please get some help?
That message appears when you have non-free items or spells granted by the features. Homebrew cannot be published if it is granting something not part of the free basic rules. Most typically this is caused by spells - so if your homebrew subclass grants spells please check and ensure these are only one of the free ones (Basic Rules and EEPC).

I have checked this. The only spell I have mapped to this is fire bolt. Everything else is created directly in the subclass homebrew. Fire bolt is in the basic rules and should not be flagged by this.
Do you have any spells or similar granted by this subclass that are homebrew?
Can you provide a screenshot of the modifiers?

Any help is greatly appreciated on what I can change. Hopefully when they revamp the homebrew section whenever that happens, they can add a more detailed explanation in the errors maybe even highlight the subsections that are in violation.
I'm not entirely quite ready to publish yet, but I would love to know what is keeping it from being published. I have to do some more editing as far as grammar, flavor etc. I basically just hammered out the mechanical bits for now. But obviously something in that mechanical bit is hanging me up somewhere.
Hello! It looks like you have a number of spells added to the "Additional Specific Spells" section that are not a part of the Basic Rules, SRD, or Elemental Evil Player's Companion. Spells outside of those sources are not a part of the free resource, and cannot currently be attached to community shared content.
Ok... so idk if I just was so mind numb I forgot to hit save the other times... But they are gone now... I apologize for overlooking such a glaring and obvious oversight. Thank you for you help. They are gone now.
Hello, I have this same situation but I have reviewed the “Free Content Spells.” spells list in the General Homebrew FAQ & Basic Troubleshooting, Ω. and confirmed that there is nothing listed in the additional specific spells boxes, I've listed this in the FAQ's section but I've reviewed their troubleshooting actions in full, is it possible for assistance? Thank you in advance

If you can post a link to the subclass (does not have to be published) a moderator will be able to take a look as well.

The only spell granted is Fire bolt. Everything else I made directly in the class using actions and didn't link anything else.
Please post a link to the subclass, then someone can take a look and help identify the issue. 🙂

It's because you have a number of spells listed in the additional spells box, some of which aren't in the basic rules:

I have removed all of those twice now.... Bloody hell... It's not supposed to have ANY spells. Grrrr. I will try again. Thank you.
