And I don't want a refund. I just want to delete the book, so that its options don't appear when I create a character
Instead of deleting the book, just turn the content for that book off while creating characters. You can do this on the Home tab of the character creator. I believe you can filter on the other pages as well, such as the Race page, if it pops up there.

...That option literally doesn't exist for what they're asking for. Mate, have you looked at the character creation screen and read their comment in full? They're trying to turn off Avernus. Not "Planescape" or "Eberron" or "Dragonlance" or anything. Singular books aren't an option to turn on and off. Entire settings are valid options, and Partnered Content is an option for singular books. What aren't options? Singular books of the official setting. Hell you can't even turn off "Faerun" as a setting, even though you can turn off other settings.
Yet another thing people have been requested for literal years, that the devs have ignored. The ability to turn off individual sources when making characters. It doesn't exist.

A bafflingly aggressive response. I have looked at the character creation screen. Often really. I had made the assumption that the OP misspoke and wanted a sourcebook that has player options turned off. Since Avernus has none, I dismissed this as an unlikely option.
You CAN however, turn off specific player options in the race selection tab, which was part of what I recommended. Have you looked at that page?
I did not say you can exclude races though. When you select a source with player race options it excludes other sources, which 'turns off' some player options.
Reivindiquei o livro fonte de Baldurs Gate 3, mas não o quero mais.
O que eu faço para cancelar a reivindicação do livro?

What book? Because depending on what it is you may not ever be able to get it back again if you later change your mind.

Unless i'm missing something you can't. you can filter so it only shows the races from a specific source but you can't exclude races from you options.
