When creating a character it all works fine until I choose a race. Once the race is selected the screen darkens and a large red loading circle appears but it stays forever. I can change to other tabs of the character creation section but i can't see what they say or exit the page. Using Chrome on a Samsung S7.
I also have this problem, and it does seem to be character-specific. No problem with two of three characters, but the Water Genasi Rogue Wizard hangs whenever I attempt to view the character sheet. I can edit the character without an issue, but when I attempt to use the "View" function from the "My Characters" menu or the "View Character Sheet" at the end of the character generation wizard-meaning-the-computer-term, I get the Eternal Spinner of Doom.
First and foremost I just want to thank the development team behind D&D Beyond for creating such an amazingly useful tool that's gotten to be my favorite tool in the game to use so far. This has by far and beyond beaten any third party apps or solutions I've tried to put together and it's great.
As for the issue, I am getting the below error each time I attempt to load a character from my account (I only have one). The sheet will load for approximately a minute and then after that minute is up, the load request will time out and generate the below error: Character Sheet Load Error
This has proven to be consistent across multiple devices (2 Windows PC's, an Android phone, and an iPhone). My best guess is that this occurred after the page had attempted to reload whilst still writing data to the character profile and caused some corruption within the file to happen; most likely due to a snippet of data not terminating properly.
If you have any information on this, it'd be incredibly helpful as I'm not able to access my character sheet otherwise. Thank you!
I created a character (see link above) just fine, Lvl 5 | Mark of Healing Halfling | Cleric/Warlock, but when I go to look at the character sheet in view I get the following error below. Edit mode for character seems to come up just fine. I am running Windows 10 PC using Google Chrome browser... thank you for any assistance to correct this situation.

Same here. Chrome Version 59.0.3071.115
After making the character sheet and selecting view, the RROSD. I can go back and edit without a problem.

It seems this doesn't happen with every race. So far it happens with High elf but not with humans.
Yes, High Elf seems to trigger this. Attempted with Chrome and IE on a desktop PC. With and without adblock, same endless loading.
It seems that High Elves are having a lie down at the moment - too much adventuring! I'll pass this one over to the team to have a look.

I had this issue creating a Wood Elf, but the next day it worked.
Just woke up - staff have said that the High Elf issues should be resolved now. :)
