I just created a custom homebrew and published in in case anyone in my campaign wanted to use it and after I had published it,realized that I needed to edit in additional information and it had 3 additional subclasses attached to it and now it's not recognizing the subclasses as actual subclasses of the character. I really don't want to have to re-do each one so it there a way I could fix this? I have 4 sub-classes as it needed that.
As a note, you do not have to publish homebrew for players in your campaign to access it. They can access the DM's private homebrew (and maybe any of the player's as well, I haven't tested it though).
What kind of homebrew is this? Can you provide a link to it?
The only way to fix it after publishing is to “create new version” edit it, and then re-publish. You only have to publish it if you want everyone to be able to use it. The players in your campaign can use the stuff you make even if you don’t publish it.
Remember, your private homebrew in your homebrew collection is automatically shared with users in your campaigns. You do NOT need to share it with the entire community for your campaigns to have access. Only click the submit button if you want the entire DDB community to have access.
That sucks. As the published stuff has inaccurate information which i wouldn't want anyone using, and I'd just prefer to delete it and start over. But I can't even do that.
That is why you are supposed to do all your testing and proofreading first, but you can click create new version and the new version will take precedence on the homebrew page.
