I'm not having any issues, when you get to the equipment portion, you need to click on manage equipment, then add equipment, select the equipment you want then go back to manage. Click on the appropriate equipment type, armor, weapon or gear and you should have all the equipment you selected with an add button to equip the character with it.
One thing I noticed on my phone is that, after typing in what I'm looking for, if I click Add it wants to hide the keyboard, but not register that I hit the add button. But this seems like more of an issue with the keyboard/browser than the app.
I can't seem to add items to a character. Idk if other people are having this problem too?

yeah i tried that. i was on my phone, so maybe that was it idk?
Could be I do almost everything from my laptop. Maybe someone else can check on a phone or tablet for you.
