Hello, I have been encountering errors such as this often. in character sheets as well as Encounter builders, when switching between monsters, can you think of what might be causing this error?
I'm having this issue as well. Cannot view any character and most of the rest of the site is having issues as well. Have tried different computers and browsers.
I have been getting the error for a couple of hours now while trying to view or edit characters. I thought it was the ones in particular I was working n so I deleted the 2 I had been modifying and still it will call up the page or character, then :
Whoops! We rolled a 1 on our API check. We're heading into town to visit the blacksmith for repairs.
I thought this was because of the Avrae Discord bot and deleted two characters before finding this thread. now i have to go about remaking them. hopefully the Dungeon masters will understand.
A fix has been implemented. Please refresh your sheets! If the issue persists, please try to log out and back into your account, clear your cache, and/or close and reopen your browser.
If you try those steps and the issue still persists, please let us know!

Same, and I can't view any of my characters either.
I'm now very much of the position that unless I get some kind of compensation for the now literally weeks that I have been unable to use the site during my subscription period, then I will be terminating it before it can renew.
It's simply unacceptable to be expected to pay for a service that is so frequently broken; I shouldn't need to disable cross origin checks just to use the most basic features of the service. And more importantly your incompetent developers shouldn't be constantly breaking things they shouldn't be changing in the first place; CORS is seriously really, really simple, once you've set it correctly there is no reason to change it, so why the hell is it breaking constantly? Who the **** is in charge of this shit?
Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.

Why does this always seem to happen on days when my group plays...
A moderator said at the top of page 4 that they are aware of the issue and working on a fix.
Woops, dunno how i missed that. Thank you!
Still ongoing. Meow.
Yep. I am keeping all the threads merged into one. Otherwise, there was about 10 different threads I'd have to reply to.
No updates or ETA yet. Will keep you posted.

I am not able to access campaign resources when I am the DM?
I attempt to access My Campaigns, so far so good, but then clicking on View Campaign gives a 'you do not have access' page.
How does that work?
