Hey all, so this is a bit of an odd one, I have never purchased WBTWL, nor have I purchased any of the Bundles, and yet somehow I have access to the book content of WBTWL as if I had purchased the compendium only, despite never doing do. I don't have access to any character options in the character builder, which is what I'd expect. I have a master level subscription, and those I content share do not have access to the WBTWL compendium or character options (as I'd also expect, having never purchased it), this just seems to be a strange bug that I'm able to view the compendium content.
Unless someone on the staff is able to show me what I've purchased in the past that gives me this weird free access, Im fairly sure I'm not supposed to have it! Just thought you should know :)
EDIT: Just to be clear, I am also not receiving this (as far as I can tell) via content sharing, because other members who are in all campaigns I'm in have the ability to view the content.
In one of your campaigns, that has content-sharing active, one of the players owns The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, so access to the compendium is shared with you.
I can't find a numbered map of the carnival anywhere, but the text keeps referring to numbered places the players can visit, is there no overview of all maps for the campaign or where can I find that map, because I can find a numbered map over the hags' or witches' realms?

How interesting. I thought I had seen the map earlier, but I can’t find it now. Typically the poster maps show up at the end of the table of contents. But I don’t see it there for Witchlight.

The Witchlight Carnival map is in the Carnival Overview. It is not numbered but directly labelled with the various locations.
I haven't read it very thoroughly yet, so which text is referring to numbers for carnival locations?

You are so right, I was sure there was a numbered map and numbered descriptions to match, but I've been searching again and I can't find any. Must have been a fever dream. xD
One in my group created a fairy character. Got a homebrew feat that increased flying speed 15 feet. (Homebrew worked on Aara). It didn't work. Went into customize speeds and override. That also did not work. Can anyone help with this?

This is better asked as a separate post in the homebrew forum. There are more people there who can help you.
Flying speed for a fairy is equal to their walking speed. So in your homebrew feat or for the override you need to change the walking speed for it to effectively change the fly speed. The coding is set up for walking not flying so fly modifiers won't change it on the fairy race.
I know the ability your only trying to mod is fly but it's the way the coding is set up for the fairy.
On mobile apps (iPad and iPhone), whenever there is something referenced from other books (or at least from the Player's Hanbook, I don't have the others, so I can't check), all of the links lead to the main page of the book, instead to the mentioned part. For example,
in "Exploring the Palace" in paragraph "P27. Armory" there is a sentence:
(...) weapons listed on the Martial Melee Weapons and Martial Ranged Weapons tables in the Player's Handbook.
All of the underlined parts are links, but they all lead to the table of contents of the Player's Handbook, rather than to the appropriate tables/paragraphs and the contents page, respectively. I suppose it was not on purpuse, given how these links work on the PCs and how it works in other books (e.g. Frozen Sick).
There are cases when knowing exactly what part of the book the authors had in mind would be much more helpful than trying to find them using a vague paragraph title (or having to move to the PC).
I have the book shared with me by a player. I can read the book and everything. But I can't use the options in the character builder. The races don't even show up. Is that intentional?

Shared content is only available to you in the actual campaign where the sharing is goin' on.
Feylost and Witchlight Hand lack background characteristics. These backgrounds are incomplete.
You mean like the personality traits, ideals, bonds, and flaws? The book doesn't have those. Seems WotC is moving away from that format for backgrounds, which is fine with me. I think a lot of people kinda make up their own, if not ignore that section of the character sheet entirely.
I purchased the Monsters section of Wild Beyond the Witchlight. I thought that when I navigated to that section on the Sourcebook table of contents, that one section would be accessible. However, I just go back to the purchase page for the entire book. When I scroll down to that section it does say I already own the content. How do I access that content in one location?

Hey, that can't be true as my partner is in all campaigns I'm in and she does not have access to the compendium...
EDIT: Nevermind...they do, we're just being dumb..lol
No worries - it happens to all of us at times! 😊

Actually now even magic items did not change the flying speed, so is race issue.
It could be a hiccup with that particular character too. Have you tried making another fairy character to test?
Tried two other fairies, same issue.
