I just bought the Dragon of Icespire Peak adventure book on the app. Payment went through, that's all good, but it won't let me open the book, taking me to the marketplace instead. When I try to put the order through again, it says I already own the book. So, why can I not open it?
It's been a couple hours at this point, and still nothing. They took my money with no problem. I sent an email to customer support, but haven't heard back from them yet, either. Feeling pretty dissatisfied right now.
Customer service has a backlog, so it could be a minute.
The app is designed for offline use, and usually only syncs with the website 1ce per night when your phone syncs to the network, so you may have to wait until that happens. In future always make purchases from the website instead of the app (I personally dislike the app for anything).
Was the purchase through Google or Apple? App purchases go through the respective app store so it's not a transaction direct through us (and thus we need to work with Google or Apple to resolve). Can you let me know the ticket number for your support request and I can take a look (as the others have advised, we have a bit of a back log at the moment, we are trying to make sure tickets get responded to within the standard 3 business day period).
I was still waiting on a response from Google - I've responded to your ticket and your book is activated. As this issue was with the transaction being stuck on Google's side, I had to wait for verification of data from them prior to being able to resolve. That will always take time. I can only suggest purchasing from us directly via our website as that means we don't have to work with Apple/Google if there is any sort of issue.
Hey man, I'm pretty sure it happened to me the same thing as LizzyRose. I bought van richten's guide to Ravenloft the other day and I still can't open it, even if it tells me that I already bought it if I try to buy it again. What do I do?
This is happening to me as well. It extremely frustrating. I'm not built for this stuff and tend to not know what I'm doing. So it stresses the hell out of me.

It must be an issue with this new marketplace, and not some stupid thing about trying to get it through apple or google.

Check that your entitlements are in sync.

It can sometimes take a little while for new purchases to filter through.

Did you purchase through the website or the app? If you purchased through the app you will have to contact customer support for the App Store.
